Nice work! This girl duo (singers Aly and Aj Michalka, most likely sisters) performs very high-quality pop-punk, prepops hard rock, but there is a place for melodic lyrics. Pure, though not brightly colored, but rather strong voices with frequent, slightly sexual breaths, going into sensual subtones, will inspire young men under 30 and young energetic ladies. According to the sound and mood, it resembles Avril Lavigne, only in a somewhat restrained and more “polyphonic” version.
This music is universal: you can listen to it alone, doing other things in parallel, or you can dance to it with friends in the club. Unobtrusive rhythm, delicate dotted drums and soft sound of live guitars and keyboards in combination with electronic samples give strength and tune in an optimistic manner. From the compositions, it makes sense to single out, perhaps, only the beautiful Potential Breakup Song sounding on world radio stations; the rest of the songs are surprisingly smooth.
To the credit of its producers, the concert is perfectly recorded and reduced: every voice, every instrument is heard, not a single note is ignored, as a result of which even monodimensional compositions in musical terms do not seem banal and boring.
