So, who is the evil here? A lonely diner in the middle of endless freeways, it gathered people, a certain number, all colors and ages. And suddenly, as usual, something goes wrong, and the people are taken hostage, and plus everything in this group of people, of course there is a girl guarding her terrible secret. And there's someone who knows the rules of the game, and watches mockingly staring at the diners through the murky prisms of dark glasses. Things are not going very well, only the smile on the face of the mysterious gentleman becomes wider, proportional to the corpses, and there is clearly something wrong. There's more to it than just robbing or taking hostages, but what? It remains only to guess, and guess, during this time, and the timing is very small, perhaps the questions of interest to the viewer will open, but, it is unlikely, the picture is then shot for an amateur idea, and a less amateur budget. So you don't have to roll your lips.
It is very sad to see where Eric Roberts rolled, in my memory he is a very, very versatile actor, and I must say talented, but his fate turned inside out and the current Eric is just a veteran of his past victories languishing in any film. In reality, at the moment, Roberts squeezes into literally all conceivable and unthinkable projects where you can raise money, regardless of the role and its content, looks very sad and miserable. What is it? The crisis of the genre, or Eric simply owes someone an incalculable amount of money, is unknown. It is only clear that he was registered in this, and it is more correct to say mired, and victories are not expected for a very, very long time, this is circumventing his participation in the films of Christopher Nolan.
I mean, Eric Roberts knows how to play, but for some unknown reason he plays, stupidly trading his name as a trademark, allowing himself to participate in natural garbage, and at the same time, not being ashamed at all.
And now about the film, everything begins cheerfully, decent music, fire is reflected in the glasses of the hero Roberts, and that’s all, the merits of the tape end. The thrust begins, a certain girl runs around the cafe, and begs visitors to take something from her, Roberts, in turn, grins, and does it not hulkingly, but rather at a professional level, taps his tongue, makes a roll, threatens with a finger to the supostats with weapons. It is clear that all this was started for him, because the invited celebrity after all. But you cannot, even if you are a young arrogant director-debutant, put the emphasis on only one, once popular Hollywood celebrity. It is necessary to have in your arsenal more spare aces in order to brighten up the viewer's view of his offspring. For the characters are not revealed in any way, they just seem to be and everything, no one interacts. During a small film, a group of people, stupidly waiting for something, and the heroine runs from one to another, and the whole message of the story becomes seemingly as clear, but at the same time boring and protracted, and this with such a short time. A sad attempt to make a serious movie turned into the release of a solid unpromising film about nothing, with a set of, well, let’s be honest, couples, namely a couple of suitable scenes, with the participation of a once successful star of the first magnitude.
