Taming with a shrew. Pedro Chamorro has promised his dying wife that he will be the first to marry her eldest daughter Catalina, and intends to fulfill the promise at any cost. Catalina doesn't want to marry anyone. Absolutely and irrevocably. Pedro doesn't do anything. The groom finds, bribes, blackmails, threatens, pretends to be dying. It's useless. The only thing Blanca wants in life is to get married. What will happen after the dress and bouquet, it takes little, the main thing is to marry. She regularly goes to all weddings, famously catches bouquets of the bride, stores in a box, and looks for a groom. But since marriage starts conversations on the second (sometimes the first) day of dating, the guys from her run faster than Usain Bolt. And here comes Martin Echaurren. Blanca falls in love with Martin and Martin falls in love with Catalina.
What wonderful TVN filmed in the late 90s – early 00s! This is the golden era of Chilean television. La Fiera is another series that has no time. It tightens immediately. The central storyline of the series is based on Shakespeare's play Taming the Shrew. C. Di Girolamo and F. Rees are an excellent choice of actors for the main roles.
The action takes place in a town located on the island, so steamships, boats, rafts, ferries, water, forests and chic landscapes. The series is very beautiful. Excellent acting, characters as a selection, musical design at a height. In this series absolutely everything is done, played and filmed incredibly talented. Just the pluses.
Best Actor – Luis Alarcon, Best Actress – C. Di Girolamo, there are no worst.
