Soul man Calm, smooth-sized film, which, for all the apparent simplicity of action, literally addicts the viewer. The beginning of harm would set up a certain conflict in the enterprise, promising a “production drama”, but in fact the tape is primarily about two single women. Two "weeds," as an elderly flatmate calls them. Ekaterina Dmitrievna (Katya, aunt Katya) is an exceptionally sincere person. You won't find anyone like her this afternoon with fire, because she's a festive person. Any events in life perceives with a soft smile on his face, while literally “magnetizes” people – both children and adults. Such people are extremely rare: everything for others and nothing for themselves. Alexandra Klimova perfectly played a woman who had time to drink a pound of dash and at the same time remained a joyful and sincere person. Her kindness attracts, because she is always easy and simple. It's as secure as a stone wall. That’s what Anna Alexandrovna (Nyusya) (Anna Dubrovina) – best friend living with Katya in the same room. Almost half of the movie takes place in this room. And that’s amazing – it’s not annoying, because in such a small “living space” there are many events. Director Yuri Dubrovin leisurely reveals to the viewer one virtue of Katya after another, and such “stitching” once again convinces the viewer how bright a person is Katya. The general impression of the picture is as if I had a heart-to-heart conversation with a very good kind person, and this conversation left in you a feeling of warmth and comfort for a long time. Pleasant women who are pleasant to look at and listen to are a pleasure. Undoubted luck I consider sounding in the final song "You have me alone", written by Yuri Iosifovich Vizbor in 1964. Extremely emotional song, it is the best fit for both Katya and Nyusi:
“I have you alone, as in the night the moon, as in the steppe pine, as in the year of spring.” There's no other like that beyond any river. No fog, faraway lands. Iron wires. In the dusk of the city. A star has risen to shine always. To wake you in a blizzard. To make the bed. To rock my daughter all night at the cradle. This is the turn you make with the river. You can take your peace. You can wave. You can pay your debts. You can love others. You can leave, just lights, lights.
