Alvaro Sulivan, to avoid prison, fakes suicide, leaving the family debts, and the mistress $ 1 million. And other problems roll like a snowball: the younger daughter of the groom left at the altar, and she wants to shoot the scoundrel, the eldest divorced, and the son made a child classmate, to marry her does not want. But Alvaro doesn't care much about the family. He travels to Switzerland, withdraws $20 million from a secret account, undergoes plastic surgery and returns to Chile with a new face and a new name.
The whole story is not even slow, but sluggish, poorly thought out. Characters are not logical, spineless, motives of actions are either stupid or absent at all. The vast majority of conversations are exemplary transfusion from empty to empty. And how could you invent such a main character? Stupid, pompous, offended by everyone capricious. The story of Camila and Pablo is the most uninteresting story in the series.
Chilean actors are very talented (I think Chilean acting school is the strongest in Latin America), but you won’t see that in the first half of the series. It's not about the actors, it's about the material. The actors simply have nothing to play here, except for a couple of characters (Lucy, Justo). It is enough just to pronounce the learned text, sometimes slightly changing facial expressions, which they very conscientiously do. But there's nothing to play. The situation changes slightly only in the second half of the story, it becomes more interesting, but no more.
Leonel and Baltasar never took off their hats! Barber, what do you think, or something else?
I didn’t like the series, but it came as a backdrop for learning Chilean Spanish. It is always good to hear a foreign language from its speakers.
Best actor - M. Romo, best actress - A. Kleski.
