Not to hide and not to leave. The main character of this film is a woman, Alexandra, who is forced along with her daughter to endure bullying and beatings from her oppressive husband Andrew. But all patience comes to an end and Alexandra, taking her daughter with her, is forced to flee. She fakes her death, changes her name and settles in a new place, life is getting better. But at one point, the past reminds itself. Andrew learns that his loved ones are alive, he longs to get even with Alexandra for years spent alone. Andrew’s thirst for revenge is even more embittered and he is ready to do anything to deal with Alexandra.
A straight-forward thriller that doesn’t reveal anything new, but it was interesting to watch from start to finish. Minimum actors and costs, but the result on the face, the output quality products. The director builds, with all the secondary, the plot intrigue, the tension in which will grow gradually, as long as the pursuer will approach his goal closer and closer. The picture is primarily a thriller, so there should be a suspense, which is here at a very good level. Scenario elaboration of the image of the characters is the strength of the picture, the character of each of the characters is revealed for a hundred. The actors played at a good level, giving their all, watching their game was a pleasure.
One and a half hours of screen time fly unnoticed, in the end, the tension reaches its apogee and the spring is ready to decompose, giving the viewer an interesting ending saturated with drama. Director Peter Sullivan shot for a relatively small amount of strong tape, the intensity of which can envy many similar tapes with a more solid budget.
