Very Portuguese Cinema In our world, conquered by Hollywood mass-produced cinema, recently became so unbearably left and “progressive” that it is impossible to watch. In our world, conquered by modern cinema, where disrespect for women or the promotion of traditional values is a deadly sin. Oh, in our world, Captain Falkan is a life-saving breath of fresh air.
And, unlike soulless Hollywood movies, Captain Falcan makes jokes about race, gender and everything that Hollywood can’t.
“I am a communist, I hate everything good in life.”
"Beware, little partridge, they're feminists." There is nothing more dangerous than a woman who thinks she is a man.
Make no mistake, Captain Falkan is a thrash. If you haven’t been able to appreciate masterpieces like the Dangerous Five or Range 15, don’t even try.
Captain Falkan is a film made with heart, love and soul. This is a film where the protagonist is confronted by shaggy and bearded communists in red jumpsuits with sickles and hammers, where a treacherous red ray turns normal people into communists, and where the glorious sons of Portugal protect her from the Red threat.
It is not recommended to watch without a bottle of wine.
