They said it was love. (c) Maybe it was necessary to look more closely, look for some subtexts in each word of the characters, in order to eventually understand the plot, but I failed. The film begins quite well: there is a handsome protagonist and a brisk heroine capable of resisting him. The point is not to understand at all. Is it about love? Perhaps, after all, you can see the first kiss, the heat of passions, glances – this will be enough for a romantic story? Perhaps for a short film, but certainly not for this story. It would be much more pleasant to watch if the main characters behaved logically and at least tried to show that they love each other.
The plot jumps crazy. He is illogical, strange and completely incomprehensible. The main character falls in love with the girl somehow unexpectedly, before planning to take revenge on her that you wonder if his feelings are true. Until the very end, I expected him to laugh in her face, turn around and walk away, thereby avenging the humiliation and desecration of his bright name. It didn’t work out that way, but it wasn’t a big difference. Their love looked fake. There was nothing magical about it, as is usually the case in romantic stories. All their romance swept by and left nothing behind. And is it worth saying that the main character also did not cause any special feelings? This is the first time that neither the main nor the secondary characters are liked. They do not have a zest that attracts them so often. That the ex-boyfriend of the main character, that the friends of the main character are all like copies of each other, only the appearance is different.
Jiro Wang is beautiful, charming and his smile is just magical, but it is in this film that the game wants the best. However, there was no need to try for such a character. The only thing worth thanking the actor for those moments when his character ceased to be so quiet and showed his character. It looked pretty, but it was impressive. Van would play rich young men with high self-esteem, he would do well. But it is worth noting that the film was inspected only because of him, since it is pleasant to watch the actor and even a pity to turn off without finishing the viewing. I don’t know who played the main character, but she has a clear talent. The role played so that this character is not remembered completely, and remaining faceless.
Maybe the writers just didn’t get what they started right. After all, there were all the makings of a funny romantic comedy. The main character is not a simple girl, and the main character is not a rich guy who loves only himself. It just didn't make any sense. This story will be remembered only because of the time spent. But I still have the idea that I just didn’t watch the movie and really missed the romantic feelings between the characters, the comedic moments and the plot itself. I liked the ending, though. He put an end to the whole story.
And the romantic comedy turned into a farce: illogical and ruthless. And throughout the film, there was this idea that it would never end, it took so long.
