Boxing an engineer is no problem! Early spring rains passed, again coming heat. You see in the distance, somewhere in the distance, the sky meets the earth. The earth and the sky are near, but go around all the world - the places where they are near - no.
Strange, unusual, but very funny film made Hangeldy Agakhanov and Nisson Zeleransky. Probably, they were so influenced by the "Turkmen Spring" - in 1963 the Union of Cinematographers of the Turkmen SSR was founded. In addition, at the beginning of the 1960s there was a real flowering of the cinema of Turkmenistan. The originality of the story, the creation of which almost entirely fell on the shoulders of Nisson of Zeleran, lies in the "combination of the incompatible" - the age-old religious beliefs and the unmaligned irony of the younger generation; the old traditions of the family way of life and the latest trends of the time. Russian-speaking actors were invited to some roles: Leonid Reutov - Chary Muradov, Varvara Soshalskaya - chairman of the kolkhoz Jamal Nazarova. The starring actress Aijan (Lyudmila Kurbanmuhamedova) was voiced by Nadezhda Rumyantsev, and for this reason the picture is to some extent perceived as a southern “echo” of the northern “Girls” (1961). There are many funny and even original scenes in the picture, which are worthily hampered by the extremely low quality of the film. But with this, unfortunately, we can not do anything – quality originals have not “surfaced” over the years, and most likely will not appear.
It remains to rely only on your own ear, especially since the “joke-humor” is almost a business card of the tape. In addition, special charm to the film add songs written by composer Alexander Zatsepin and poet Leonid Derbenov. In many Soviet films, songs from films quickly "went to the people." It happened with both of the songs from this tape. The song-twist "About nothing": "I take with me on the road only - for a day of bread and a little ash two oh!" instantly gained popular love. Like the deeply romantic song "Horizon" in the magnificent performance of Maya Kristalinska. In the year of release, the film was criticized for what the title of one of the songs - "About Nothing" - became the semantic core of the picture. Critics were not satisfied that the tape is too simple and down to earth. That the eccentric spectacle didn't work out because of a short line of witty movie tricks. That the musical revue was not fully realized due to the lack of bright dance and musical scenes. I quite admit that there is something critique of law, that is, only to strive to ideal and to achieve ideal - these are completely different things. . .
Our horizon is near and far away. It can be in every destiny, it can be in love. Are you walking around in silence with me somewhere, or is it just me? . . '
