Children play poorly, as if reading poetry on a stool.
Dad. A playful hoarseness that feels like being squeezed out. Alkasha plays only by drinking beer and lying sucked under the bridge.
They removed a gay guy from the Russian version, why? After all, the problem of admitting to yourself and society that you are a homosexual in our country is just relevant.
Veronica's roommate, black girl, why is she black? It's not a pattern! And her husband is not charmingly stupid as in the American version, but just a stupid cattle.
Julia (in the original Karen) in our version of some kind of dumb minor in the image ' dream of a pedophile' than in the original and did not smell.
Phil, Katya (Fiona), Dan (Jimmy) and the children (forgot their names, in the original it’s Carl and Debbie) in our series generally dough, nothing.
Russian actors picked up similar to the foreign version, but the point? No charisma. The dialogue is not thought out, sometimes torn and stupid.
I personally liked the quality of the picture, if not for the excessive amount of sloumo, it is really already infuriating, we can see how the TV falls without sloumo, shoot just normally, without shaking the camera.
It would not be called an adaptation, it would be better to register the characters of a small town somewhere in the suburbs - it would be a great series about the castle, not about a typical cattle (as we now like), but about normal ordinary people who are just trying to survive.
Looking ahead, I want to say that I did not watch the American and English versions, so as not to spoil the impression of the domestic work.
Shameless is a modern Russian classic, again, that's my opinion. Come on, let's start. A hero of our time, who is this? Suppose your answer is: he is a lucky man with ambitious plans, surrounded by the right connections, confident in his future, firmly standing on his feet. Let me remind you that in the recent Soviet past, the Hero of our time was a symbol of work and creation, it is like a worker and a collective farmer, it is like a blacksmith forging a bright future, a collective image of Soviet people. There was a time of industrialization, factories worked, agriculture flourished, life was boiling.
It's the 21st century. The age of capitalization, robotics and intelligent systems are freeing up jobs.
In the cinema there is a popularization of the hero of our time in the form of oligarchs, escorts, bandits and security forces. The subject of the ordinary person is closed.
Shameless people are a modern collective image of a provincial, a castle. On TV screens, the life of an ordinary hard worker is rarely carried out, and if it is carried out, then it is far from reality.
In the series, it is funny to watch how the heroes of our time survive and in what situations they fall, from which there is a sincere laugh.
Should I watch this series? The series is easy to perceive unstamped humor. I would recommend watching.
The series is lively, sometimes even rusty from the side of Russian reality, or even more precisely from the side of the "ass of life" in which more than 50% of the country's population lives. As the proverb says "the goal of fiction is cunning" - so about this and the series. I watched all versions of the series, both British and American - they pull 10 points. Our series because of the Russian mentality and tolerance, or rather because of their absence loses almost half the meaning of the original version. Perhaps that is why he went beyond the 1st season and did not go, but in vain.
Russian adaptation is more like for the Russian viewer
The series is really good.
There are also a lot of negative opinions about the American and British versions. Perhaps it does not allow the viewer to simply decompose the brain over stupid jokes, as it is implemented in popular sitcoms.
Unlike the zabugorny versions, the Russian series is more adapted for viewing by our viewer. Here and homosexuals are replaced by older women, and expensive gadgets do not shine so clearly. Poverty is shown from the Russian side.
Actors are really copied by images. Casting specialists did a great job here. But there are also moments that you forgot or did not want to exclude.
Why would a drunk go to a bar and order a beer? It's not like our reality.
In any case, the series came out much better than other “re-drawn” American sitcoms. No stupid behind-the-scenes laughter. The plot ... just ordinary life ...
The authors persistently call their craft “a remake of an English series”, which in general is so, because a copy of the American remake is also a remake.
Everything is sliced together - dialogues, footage, the plot itself. However, as previously said, the topic of boobs is not disclosed, there are no drugs, alcohol is minimal. Authors everywhere emphasize that they sought documentary, but all the dialogue in the series as in the anecdote "Comrade Ivanov, do you not see that your colleague drips by the spine of a melted tin." Have you ever seen anyone who knows you speak to you? I don't. And that people without money have strong alcohol shop, and beer is all in glass? Where are the squirrels, moonshine and hawthorn?!
In general, the attitude to the viewer was clear in the 22nd minute of the second series, when for some reason a dummy surveillance camera in an Estonian police station is shown. Wasn't there any camera footage?
By the 10th series, everyone is tired of fiddling with the film. The girl “heavily drags” a three-kilogram heat exchanger from a gas column; for analysis of paternity take blood from a vein (!!!), the boy with a broken hand calmly comes to his father (staff Karl is quite forgiven, our Vitka is not convincing at all), and so on endlessly. It looks like a school play. What did 10 writers (!!) do to copy the American version? Trying to get rid of homosexuality, drugs, minimize alcohol and sex! "Draw me a hedgehog, but without needles"? The rite of purification killed him. With the American version and not close. No way at all, you could have missed it.
There is also an emphasis on music... I think it's crooked too. All smarts, laptops, cars are new, and the background is constantly, then Hands Up, then something from the long forgotten... In general, a constant feeling of falsehood, cheapness and work through the sleeves.
What to expect from people who have no idea about reality?
“The shooting in Shchelkovo made a strong impression on Chadov. “You leave only 30 km from Moscow,” says Andrei, “and you end up in a ghetto with terrible, rickety houses, where people live in terrible conditions!” I knew I could see it 300 kilometers from the capital, but I didn’t expect it to be the same at thirty. It is good that we combine drama with comedy, so there will be no total feeling of darkness and hopelessness. ?
I watched the American version of the shameless, almost all seasons, you can say, I am a fan of this series. Yes, it is an adaptation of the British TV series of the same name, and according to most, the adaptation surpassed the original. I watched a few episodes of the British version for interest, and yes, the Americans shot clearly cooler, the story and characters look much more juicy than in the original, they are more interesting to watch and empathize with.
Recently I came across an article about the plans of Russian adaptations of cult foreign TV series - Doctor House, scum, shamelessness, etc. Well, you can't look without laughing, but why not, no one in class forbids trying to draw the Mona Lisa. Even decided to look at our shameless. More than one episode I was not enough, and then I had to watch from the middle with rewinds. It feels like watching a parody, but not funny. Okay, that's about what I expected. I decided to watch the reviews for this series. If the rating did not surprise me, then some positive reviews, in the spirit, but this is about us, about Russia, the characters as relatives and the story is remade for us, were very surprising. I remember the first episode of the American version well, so there was a strong sense of déjà vu, here he is Frank, but not the charismatic Frank, but ours, an alcoholic who decided to philosophize, Fiona, who was tried to copy not only as a character, but also as an image that was created by Emmy Rossum in the American adaptation, suddenly in the Russian outback again her friend is a black woman (although in the British version there was a white woman, but our director and writers decided not to depart from the cherished key to success, as they thought - copy everything and we will succeed), and other characters did not change from the old ones. And so frame by frame, dialogue in dialogue, almost word for word, foreign history and characters somehow turned into our native.
In general, what I want to say, I am not in any way trying to argue and convince people who liked ' our ' shamelessness, just want to say, those people who first stumbled upon this series on NTV or where there it is shown and are in thought, whether to watch or not, read first the American version of this story, but if you do not like it, or our hooks more, then watch this creation.
I don’t understand why there is so much negativity towards the Russians. Yes, they hushed up the topic of gays, but they took the plot from the American version, and those from the British one, but the series for NTV is really good. What soundtracks! Only 7B worth what.
When I started watching, I was skeptical, but with each episode I liked it more and more. I had a lot more sympathy for the characters than when I watched the American version. Americans have a completely different behavior, emotions, and in general they seem to be from another world with their films, but here everything is native and really real. It's catchy.
I liked the character Phil the most. It turned out much cooler than the American version (there he always has a face & #39; how you all got me and when I will die & #39;). In the American version I was more sympathetic to Ian, and here Phil, and for that a huge thank you to the actor.
And Vitek turned out to be much more alive than Carl in the first seasons. He didn’t even talk there and was a fool. I’m very interested in what will happen next.
In general, I can not decide which version I like more, each in its own way hooked. We can only hope that the first season of Russian shamelessness will not end.
I came across the series quite by accident, read the comments - almost all negative, I even became interested in including the first series and the series went just hurried. There is absolutely no desire to watch the American or British version, when it becomes a choice I always choose Russia, because the actors play lively, the mentality is closer, the characters are more realistic. Just imagine that in such an area there would be a gay man, and it is not like a yard punk, his own would be beaten. And everyone would go with iPhones... Ugh!
It's very difficult for me when people start comparing which version is cooler. How can you compare when everyone’s life is different? The Russian version doesn’t have this pretentious European and American trend – it’s a place where you can see the reality, what can happen in life. A family that never leaves. Sister hen - who needs to put a monument for love and patience. Two older brothers who will support and help. A younger sister who wants to be an adult and loves her family. The younger brother is a tomboy with an eye on him. And where without the mother of the cuckoo and the father of the alcoholic?
The plot is very rich: quarrels, drunkenness, fights, betrayals, sincere love, first love and many, many sex. Each episode just drags and looks in one breath. You experience together with the heroes, you rejoice, you laugh.
Just turn off your glamorous pathos sensor and watch the series without comparisons and I assure you you will enjoy watching!!

This is what you missed in the previous series. Where have you been?
Yes, citizens, this is not a masterpiece. But the rating is definitely understated. I haven’t seen the American version, I’ve seen a few episodes. And here we can say that he began to look at our Shameless from a clean slate. Which I recommend to you too.
The main advantage of this series is that I want to watch it, it is just interesting.
The action develops briskly, there are no obvious sags. Each character is very juicy, with its own story and everyone is given enough screen time. Humor is a separate subject. The series is VERY rusty, in each episode a couple of times the head begins to hurt with laughter. "Good grandmother, can you keep it?" Such a number of funny scenes are not in all combined films of Andreasyan and Svetlakov with Nezlobin.
I will not write about each hero, everyone has already muzzled everything in detail.
Shevchenkov is a hell of a bitch. Such a convincing game is rarely seen on TV. And everything else seems to fit on it.
I am pleased with the number of frank scenes, and very frank, which is very surprising for NTV. Where are our morale advocates looking?
Summarizing. Our series, according to American motives, is very funny and interesting.
And, with all the minuses, much better a series of endless, stupid and the same type of gangster-ment series on the same NTV.

Fans of the American “original”, which is not the original, can endlessly shout that one of the domestic actors was different from his favorite from the Western version. They can shout endlessly that they rewrote all the events one by one, and missed some important details. They can endlessly shout that this is another disgrace, failure and all that.
You can endlessly listen to their cries, and you can take and watch a great by the standards of Russian production of the series. Quality, interesting. With great actors ("about the children, I am silent - they played in both Western versions at first so themselves"), wonderful camera work ("here it is worth noting separately - if you are a fan of the landscapes of the Russian hinterland - you just fall in love with the local "landscapes"), but most importantly - with an absolutely licky quality transfer of the life of the same family in Russian realities. Here you and a typical Russian school, and a hospital, and stuffy non-stuffy grocery stores, so generously sprinkled in all the sleeping areas of our vast.
And it all looks very lively. Very natural. Very believable. And, oddly enough, you may not believe me ( still - from above a lot of negative reviews), but you sympathize with the characters. You laugh with them. Sad.
How long has this been the case with domestic TV shows?

Burning in the Russian hinterland - for you will be 10 out of 10
Initially, everyone tries to watch the American version, everyone wants something out of the ordinary. The Russian remake scene leaves much to be desired, there is nothing impressive in the Russian market.
It is very difficult to compare with the original, but. But the Russian version is not so terrible as our ordinary users put estimates.
The similarity of the actors is, but unfortunately not all, this is probably the biggest problem of the series.
Emmy – it turned out and looks similar and slightly in character, it lacks only the drive, which is in the original, and so a good copy.
Frank is the worst thing in the series. In the original, this is a crazy father, a drunk without stopping, a cheerful and charismatic character who holds almost half of the series. What about the Russian version? And we allegedly have an alcoholic who sometimes drinks beer and everything, a couple of phrases that do not catch on. There is no indifference that should come from him.
Kevin and Veronica are neighbors with constant support leading a stormy erotic life, having their own bar. In our version, these are some boring and everyday neighbors of each tenant. Nothing friendly, intriguing and overly fun from them as in the original. They should diversify them, because at the moment these people in fact in the series are nothing but typical neighbors who also for some reason still eat constantly at them.
Lip is an intelligent, originally intelligent guy with a delusional view of life. In our case, it is shown only how he cranks, which does not make him the smartest and most ordinary teenager who is interested only in a girl.
Ian is a gay, athletic guy, bipolar, strong personality. In the Russian version - a lover of older women. Here I can only assume that they did not want to show gayness in Russia, which is perhaps correctly done, only now how to unfold the story of the character, on what he was and is based, I think it will be extremely difficult.
Debbie is a sister who sticks her nose wherever she goes, loving her father. In the series — initially she seems really too young, for this role, I think she must be obviously older. Love for his father is shown, as in American loyalty, but there is no bestowal from Frank, which also does not very affect this branch.
Carl is a rising star, an original character. I didn't see anything in our version. He just does not, he does not participate in the series at all, his plot line is practically absent.
Sheila and Karen are a mother and daughter, a driven mother on cleanliness and an energetic liberated daughter. The daughter in the series is quite cool, but with the mother seems a problem. She looks crazy, but she doesn't look interesting. The daughter on the series is 14 years old, and looks like 20 years old, somehow spoils the impression of her.
Steve and Tony are a violent guy, a thief, a person who is ready to do much for the girl, to give her any gift and a cop in love with her since childhood. The cop doesn’t show much, but it’s very similar to the original, although it’s an easy task to convey his image. Here with Steve is a slightly different story, here he is in the same occupation, but looks too sloppy unlike the original.
I forgot to add Liam. It seems that the presence of the child is unnecessary.
The conclusion is: The acting pleases, but not everyone, there are a lot of shoals that can be changed even to make the series look fresher.
Very sad is this complete resemblance to the original, well, come up with something of your own, leave the roles and a drop of the plot, but add your scenes! Even sex scenes, slithered almost the same, it's terrifying.
The series feels the Russian spirit, family spirit, but still lack something new, fresh.
The series is more like a rating of 5-6, due to the not quite terrible remake, but more so far is not suitable.
I was very surprised when I read positive reviews about this adaptation.
But, having seen at least a little positivity in the comments, I was intrigued so much that I still decided to watch this “masterpiece”.
A number of frank minuses stood out immediately: firstly, smoothed sharp “corners”: gays were replaced by lovers of “moms” (hello, Finch, if you know what I mean), removed the kind of activity of “neighbors”, baby Liam cut out of the picture in principle. Drugs are completely eliminated.
Secondly, there was a sister-by-description even difficult to understand. It will probably be a buffer.
And thirdly, the most important thing is acting. Even in the not very popular, original, British version of the role of Debbie (we have Christina here) and Karl (in our version of Vitka), talented young actors played. In the American version, they were excellent. In the NTV adaptation, these characters look weak and even pathetic.
There are pluses, oddly enough: pleased with the desire of the channel team to convey as much as possible tin, inherent in the original. I think within the framework of the freedom of speech of our country, the guys did everything they could. Some situations played out quite adequately – they transferred American realities to “native”, Russian ones. Plus for trying.
In general, with a discount on censorship and Russian cinema, we have 4/10. Not to look out, but tolerable.
Of course, on the Internet it is very easy to criticize everything: absolutely anything. To throw dirt on the work, ideas, work of others, taking advantage of the impersonality and incomprehension of a large number of people, as well as receiving various benefits that can bring this or that statement, especially authoritative (with a blurred concept of authority, again).
So I will speak not authoritatively - but because it boiled over; boiled over all the recent miscarriages of the domestic "cinema", and if you look deeper, it is far from it.
We all know that today in Russia, cinema has long and specifically lame – please note, not as an art, because they still save the work of young, even beginner directors (again – the world sees a few of these works!) – but lame as an industry as a whole, and can not even move without the help of a wheelchair, in our case – in the image of other people’s ideas; but – as a laugh! – does not even know how to use them.
Taking something that has already been invented and bringing it to life elsewhere is a great idea; and I'm serious: really great (!) - as you can guess, the BUT will follow, and it will follow: if you do it wisely! Unfortunately, this remake completely lacks adaptation to the real life of the Russian “deep”, “ghetto” – your will in choosing a definition. The series is simply copied from its predecessor(s), which can be understood by anyone born/grown/stayed for some time in such places – that is, one who can at least theoretically understand the feelings of the hero/heroine and empathize with him or her. And as for people who are far from a given topic, there is no need to wait for their understanding and attention to the creators of the series.
So who is this series for?!
A difficult question for me, because it brings out in my mind a picture that has been captured in its depths thousands of times; a picture of tired, frozen in one space people who want at least some impressions, spectacles, novelty – not by their efforts, but simply by clicking on the “button” (there can be many, not only TV). And I am sad that such methods of getting rid of boredom are still first: bought, and secondly: sold.
Sad note, end, curtain.
Even before the release of the series, it was successfully criticized by fans of the original. People were expecting a remake, but there isn’t a single successful remake in our country if you’re disappointed in your fantasies – that’s your problem, watch the trailer before you launch the series and write an angry review. No one deceived you, only your wild imagination deceived you!
If we consider the domestic market of TV series – the assessment is unambiguous, 10 out of 10. Of course, fans of tin and thrash upset, there is nothing out of the ordinary. But this is a breath of fresh air on NTV.
If you like the trailer, it’s worth watching because the trailer is true. Dynamics, a good domestic plot, a large number of everyday situations in which you can easily recognize neighbors or friends.
There are no Russian or foreign locations here, which is especially pleasing there are no Moscow locations. According to the scenario, everything happens in a small town, near the Estonian border and near the metropolis (Sosnovy Bor near St. Petersburg, since it is indicated that the city was closed).
If you want a domestic product, but you are sick of TV series about the rural district, and humorous series about the Moscow cattle (real guys, olga, university, interns, etc.) seem monotonous and boring - then you will like the Russian series "Shameless" 2017.
The Russian TV series Shameless is not an artistic fantasy about theoretical life in the ghetto. If the American remake was made on the basis of a British series, the Russians did the opposite, took Russian realities and adjusted to the format of an international franchise. Of course, it did not like connoisseurs of good cinema, but it is a great step to accustom the domestic audience to the beautiful.

The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts is unique in that, along with the original works of art, it contains copies of world-famous sculptures. These copies were taken from the originals, some for the first time. Because if you take a copy from a copy taken from another copy, you get objects that poor students in art studios draw.
This series is a copy of the American copy of the British series. Now it's called "adaptation" because it's stupid for the Russians to make a series about the descendants of Irish immigrants in the United States. Who's gonna watch this? Where are we going to shoot America? In the US it is expensive, in Russia it is unreliable. It's just that the so-called adaptation is made with the beheading of the entire cultural root system, compared to the American version with ours. Therefore, it looks like a log of unknown breed and origin.
What kind of apartment is such a communal and two-storey apartment like the Bukin family? Why does a schoolgirl suddenly start sucking at an unfamiliar teenager? How is it that the guardianship has not yet come to look at a large family with a debt for utilities?
Well, the authors failed to adapt the entire implied history of the slave trade by the Irish from England to the American colonies and their subsequent compact residence in the northeastern area of the United States. Culture, or rather, the culturelessness of drinking establishments and hangovers with a cocktail of whiskey and raw eggs. Institute of Tutors in high school (in our opinion, high school) from among successful classmates. The sequential shift in manufacturing of everything, and finally machinery, from historically industrialized areas of the United States to developing countries, which led to the recent bankruptcy of Detroit. A formal understanding of chastity in Catholic American families. The gradual impoverishment and degradation of the white middle class.
They were able to adapt only partially the plot, including binge drinking, petty crime, household, problems of puberty and ambivalent behavior of sexually mature women with a neurotic attitude “to people.”
Honestly, all this can be seen in various reality shows like “Male and female”, “Rublevo-Birulyovo”, etc. With real drama, twisting dirty laundry in public, DNA tests, the fate of alcoholic children. But only if the viewer is interested in social topics, and not to occupy yourself with another gum for the mind.
Shameless is a cult American series that shows our world without frames and censorship. A series that invested a lot of money and made a really high-quality movie. Although it is not the original, but look at what a chic and expensive adaptation it is.
From the first minutes of the Russian remake, it was immediately clear that this was a failure. Not surprisingly, he received his lowest marks before his release. Well, I would understand if they made a quality adaptation, which would not be ashamed, but is it possible?
I don’t see the point in painting all the disadvantages of this picture, and in general in any way comment on it. I will say one thing, nothing compares with the same thing that happened in the original shameless. Watch the original and do not waste time watching this masterpiece.
As the saying goes, “Don’t forget to put your kids to bed before you start watching.” . ? ?
