One more moment... The lyrical story of a chance meeting at a bus stop has a good sense of rhythm. Involuntarily caught the problem of incommunicability of man in the conditions of technological progress. And although everything around indicates quite favorable conditions for communication, a person is not able to cross the line and the bus remains the border that only one crosses.
This approach cannot be said to be original. Suffice it to recall the pentalogy about the alienation of Michelangelo Antonioni, but still the film “The Moment” is not without its own eyes. No wonder the artist was chosen as a hero. After all, in modern society it is an absolutely conscious recognition of one’s own marginal position. A kind of reclusiveness, withdrawal from the real world into the world of fictional images. But fenced off from everyone, sooner or later, you can come to the fact that it will not be possible to get out of the “glass bubble” yourself. Even if there is an object of attraction only a couple of meters away, it is already a huge distance from which you can only observe. And then rush to try to get it out of the tarnished “disfocused” memory to capture the moment of attraction on paper, and to do this, try to repeat the moment again and again, trying to prolong it.
It cannot be said that the work of Pavel Moskvin is not without student shortcomings. However, some details are not necessary and they could be safely omitted. For example, the construction helmet, which at the beginning of the film the hero takes with him. Yes, perhaps this tells the viewer about his profession, but due to the fact that this line is not developed in depth, this accent is superfluous.
