It's a comedy. Horror... Three students and a girl decided to go to the forest for a picnic. No, not that: confused review... Thought... Although, if I copy the review from a cheap youth horror movie, then the difference, in fact, will not be.
So, three soldiers and a stationery rat were sent to guard some facility. The guys came to the base and started.
I don't know what started. And it started not on the basis, but at the stage of writing the script and implementation.
First, about the purpose of the object, we do not know anything. Yeah, radiation. Yeah, radiation. That's it. Uranium mines could have been so successful.
Second, there is a mess and a bad relationship. I may be wrong, but in the Israeli army – and lawlessness in the relationship “commander – subordinate”, and no one has anything against it? Panibratical attitude, and even in bedlam?
Thirdly, the order itself reminded me of the movie “Sgt. Bilko”. I mean, a total annealing, too. At a facility surrounded by Arab villages? Oh, come on!
I don't see comedy. Disputes about sex exploits and a little innocuous jokes over the guy who, perhaps for the first time, holds a weapon in his hands, is this a comedy?
And the thriller... And the thriller reminded me of the old “good” 1-dollar thrillers, which were released immediately on cassettes, and which many did not go so badly if there were friends, beer, chips, alcohol... Anything that can distract from the movie.
Explaining what started to happen is cheap and not serious. Even the reason is so far-fetched that somehow not even serious. True, everything can be attributed to the action of the object: the behavior of the characters, and the script itself.
Well, judge, the thriller itself begins with a velvet bay, for a reason sucked out of the finger and quickly ends.
And the ending... Well, at least the ending worked, so no. And the general ending, and the one that goes in the last seconds and sets the mood after the film.
The director, the writer, are not students. As far as I know, this is their first movie. But right, and students can come up with, though cheap, but more interesting. Not to “unplug off and so it will go”, but at least to try to finish the film more interesting.
That's my assessment.
