Asimov. . . Isaac I accidentally stumbled upon this TV show online. It turned out - according to the novel - "Naked Sun" to the second about the adventures of the detective - earthman Elijah Bailey and the detective - robot R. (i.e. robot) Daniel Olivo, who here turned into Olivau, which is strange, because the first novel about the adventures of this couple was published in the USSR long before the release of the play. Not critically, though, let it be Olivau. Fans of Asimov will forgive.
When watching, I wondered why the second novel was filmed instead of the first. In contrast to the chamber action of the second novel, in the first many events take place in open space. It is clear to put the performance in 2-3 scenery is much easier, and less expensive. The open space in it is shown to us only once, because it remains behind the scenes, and very, very briefly, because the main character is not just a wean from the appearance of natural nature, the sky, etc., but almost never saw them, because the Earth by the time, as described in the first novel, was closed by a steel dome, hence the name of the book - "Steel Caves".
The plot, as in almost all detective, and this is a detective, Azimov is full of logical traps and guesses and, in the end, it is the ability of a person to think illogically that gives the way to solving the crime.
Among the acting work it is impossible not to mention Svetlana Kryuchkova, who in the first appearance made up in such a "vamp" that the actress can not be recognized. By the way, it is her role that has the greatest development of character.
Unfortunately, I cannot put more than an average estimate, because in addition to low-budget scenery, the film adaptation is not quite accurate, some characters and storylines have been removed completely, and the finale has been significantly changed.
Nevertheless, I do not regret watching, because any adaptation of such an infrequent guest on Soviet TV as Isaac Asimov is always curious.
