Maybe a seagull? (granddaughter and grandfather - two boots pair)
Why did Ram Gopal need to resurrect this franchise? Nine years later, he shoots another series about the legendary Subhash Nagre. And to be honest, I didn’t like it very much. Hayat Amitabha is blasphemy, so I will be a filmmaker who parasites on his own films. The plot is very slurred, confusing, but confusing somehow so stupid that when the truth comes out at the end, you want to shout - what nonsense, who invented it, and why it is. Everything revolves around a situation in which Sarkar (Amitabh Bachchan) finds out what is going on with one large developer. In the time since the death of his two sons, Sarkar has grown old, but still holds power in his hands, relying on his closest henchmen Gokul and Ramana. With Sarkar’s young and hot grandson Shivaji (son of Sarkar’s eldest son, who was killed by his younger brother at the end of the first film), the situation is getting worse every day. It is unclear who is the enemy to whom, who is friends against whom, nothing is clear at all. The fog is overtaken by characters like Govind some over there, played by Manoj Bajpay, and another mafia man played by Jackie Shroff. The character of Manoj Bajpayee, an ambitious politician, has not been revealed in any way: it is only clear that he is a nit. What's the point? It is an inexcusable waste of time to use the strongest dramatic actor. Jackie Shroff spends the whole film with beauties around a variety of swimming pools and speaks riddles. What was the point of bringing him into the movie? Yami Gautam - what was she doing there?
The talent of Amitabha himself was not used for the tenth part. Half of the film he drinks tea, half of the film is meaningfully silent. Long, long pauses, unwarranted. Sometimes he got emotional, but then he died again. Like, Sarkar, he is supposed to calculate everything and hold himself in his hands. But Amit Sadh, playing Shivaji, tried to portray the “angry young man”, but somehow unconvincingly he succeeded. Whether this scenario is so spelled out, or against the background of Amita-ji, he looked like his weak likeness. Most importantly, what are all these scenes and dialogues for? Double castling in thrillers and dramas works if the script is decent. It's not fun. Here’s the noir atmosphere – this is yes, Ram Gopal tried, well, in principle, his “handwriting” is always recognizable and everywhere – there is half-darkness and muted tones everywhere, which even more evokes alertness, anxiety, and even enhances the effect of the sound of Govinda, Govinda... And a photo of his son (Abhishek Bachchan), who is here as another character involved. So the director says to us, look, he's alive, he's with us! With us and Sarkar, always. The film is very interesting.
It’s a great song to sing when you’re alone! Amitabh sings the hymn to the god Ganesh in his inimitable voice. That's really fascinating! Who will watch - do not be lazy, listen!
And finally. I don't think we should shoot Sarkar 4. Have pity on Amitabha! But what I’m saying is that this is just my personal opinion. Some people liked the movie very much.
