Wonderland or Battle of the Ardennes in American This megamasterpiece was directed, famous in narrow circles, by Stephen Luke, the performer and starring. Before that, he lived modestly, wrote scripts and starred in any g... not, but at one point decided to surpass Spielberg with his private Ryan. Looking at the rating, one might think that he succeeded (although just over 100 people voted on IMDb). But it turned out that the Americans did not need a second Spielberg, and Mr. Luke scraped only 1 million. I must give him credit that he managed to sign Tom Berenger, who probably begins Alzheimer, otherwise I can not explain the participation of the star & #39; Platoon & #39; in this picture. His role is more comic and far from the main one. I don’t know where they saw it ' Battle of the Ardennes' however, as well as ' Wonderland' (translated from the original title). The film goes a little more than an hour and the battle in it is shown something like this: go, like for a walk, through the fishing line 30 Germans, like, advancing. A dozen Americans are waiting for them. The Germans came, the Americans shot, the Germans withdrew. A couple of times the Germans fired a cannon with a big underflight and, as the Americanos said, ' we have a real hell' After a while, the Germans will go again and repeat the same thing. In between these 'battles' American soldiers try to contact Tom (he is their commander). But there is no connection, and Tom does not have it (neither with his superiors nor with the fighters). And they are trying in vain, there will be no help. We will see a couple of German tanks walking along the countryside, the front of which the main character hits with a shot from the thigh (!!!) from a grenade launcher. Periodically, the enemy is captured, and the main hero manages to be captured twice. All this looks like a friendly between the guys, and the Americans of their prisoner, like Spielberg, released with the same result in the end.
This is a battle that changed the course of history, as the poster says.
There is something positive to bet on for this craft.
