Performed by Rob Zombie Before becoming a solo, imposing and unique king of heavy rock, Rob Zombie performed in the band White Zombie, where his "terrible" style was just taking shape. "More human than human" is a four-minute video for the song of the same name, released in 1995. And if you, like me, love rock and in particular the voice of Rob Zombie, then these four minutes will definitely give you pleasure.
Now such clips, of course, are no longer removed. Not prestigious. The image in many places is fuzzy, the colors are oversaturated, the camera twitches. It is only important to note that all this is not a manifestation of inexperience, but on the contrary, the result of efforts and the use of opportunities of those years to the maximum. The creators of the video did not even spare money for a camera with a wide screen, which at that time was not a weak luxury, because in the mid-nineties, wide-screen TVs only appeared, and computers with monitors of such formats did not have to dream. The moderate fuzzyness of the image here is probably even conscious, since the purpose is not always to display reality. In video clips, this is not desirable at all, but artistic taste to show is a must.
You can’t keep quiet about music here. It may not be the level of Rob Zombie's subsequent songs, but the low roar of electric guitars is a capitalized pleasure. That's what brutality is. That's what drive is. Unique, remaining there in a bygone era. Well, Rob's voice, I've already said, you can listen to it forever. For metal is more suitable and difficult to imagine.
Keeping objectivity, I still state the fact that the solo songs of the future king are much more impressive, and I want to listen to them much more often. The same applies to the clips – while the subsequent ones have become real miniature films, “More Man” is exactly the clip. He is nostalgic, pleasing with his music, but only.
