Santa Claus under sight! After a successful trial of step-by-step puppet animation, used by enthusiastic director Thomas Fife in the work on the first two parts of a kind of comic series about the adventures of the evil Sith Lord Darth Vader during the Christmas holidays, the team of the independent studio Blobstudio took up the development of the third part of Lego Star Wars: Christmas Special, which in fact was no less entertaining than the past. Not going to change the style, direction and sharpness of humor in favor of democratic family values, the director again amused himself with the action-packed content of the story, providing his audience with a few minutes of selective spectacle with a mandatory warning note that viewers under 18 are better to refrain from watching.
Lego Star Wars: Christmas Special 3 takes us back to a galaxy far, far away, engulfed by imperial tyranny. Palpatine’s steel-fisted peoples are forced to hide happiness from the approach of Christmas, otherwise it is no wonder to become another victim of Darth Vader, who has his scores for Santa Claus, constantly slipping from his lamas. While combing through every corner of the cosmos on his spectacular Star Destroyer, the Sith Lord finally finds a runaway beard and gives him no chance to reject the inexorably approaching lightsaber fight.
Thomas Fife plays opposites in his own way. On the one hand, the visual series "Lego Star Wars: Christmas Special 3" pleasantly surprises, sets up a festive mood. Slowly whirling snow, bright illuminations covering the "Star Destroyer", a lovely village with neatly folded houses and a Christmas tree - all this and much more symbolize the Christmas holiday, like a lively postcard, which you want to get into. At the same time, the short film is in no hurry to flirt with imaginary diligence, because Darth Vader has not yet had time to switch to the Light side of the Force. His mission to capture Santa Claus is in full swing and who knows what will lead to aggressive negotiations between two completely different fairy tale wizards.
As a result, Lego Star Wars: Christmas Special 3 is in no way inferior to the previous parts of the original franchise. Thomas Fife never ceases to amaze with his perseverance and perseverance. From a technological point of view, the cartoon does not raise any questions, and its hot artistic merits are now appreciated by adults. Children are better to stay on cute short crafts from the official companions of the Lego Corporation.
