I do not know why the film has such a high rating - in my opinion, the creators have not decided for which audience the movie, serious or fabulous, sad or funny.
On the one hand, the creepy customer makes stuffed two-month-olds (!) lick (by the way, they forgot about him at all and the Main Evil was not punished), on the other hand, the boy on a bicycle quite successfully chases the car through the city and the woods, then the stupid poachers do not see him ten meters from his secret base, although he does not particularly hide. . .
The base is generally funny - it's huge, with a bus, with a barn full of animals. A kind ranger wanders around the forest, but he mostly finds traps, and he cannot find the base. Even when the boy visited and saw it, the location of the base to the last is a mystery to the Forces of Good.
Adult characters behave exactly as you expect. This freak, this one's a little smaller, and this one's gonna be ashamed and he's gonna make amends. Aunts are very boring. The boy's mother is disgusting.
The fox, you say.
Well, fox, what's a fox? He's mostly asleep or napping in the shot.
I didn’t like the movie, and the trailer is also unattractive. I was hoping this was the case when the movie was more interesting than the trailer. But no, not the case. God be with him, with a high rating on Kinopoisk, but my personal rating on KinoNavigator has failed expectations. They promised that the film would like a solid 7, but it was quite something to cling to. The actors don’t play well, except for Julia Alexandrova. The fox played himself best, only it was interesting to look at him throughout the film. The script is clumsy, boring. The music is obsessive as a voiceover laugh in a TV show. It felt like they were trying to fill the emotional emptiness of many scenes. And, by the way, “Little Prince” Saint-Exupery is very rude sewn to the plot. The animated bets, yes, are pretty cute, but otherwise the shaking of the air is beat up by sounding here: "We are responsible for those we tamed." And in general, the film is not about friendship, but about loneliness and abandonment. I should have chosen “Hikor” which also appeared in my personal recommendations, but my intuition failed, and I chose “My Wild Friend”.
The story of true red friendship and the importance of supporting loved ones
The film is beautiful, soulful, soulful and incredibly beautiful. Immediately it is worth noting the well-chosen location - amazing landscapes and amazing nature. And of course, such a charming paws - a red fox, just touches the soul at first sight. It is good that they filmed real animals, because no computer graphics can replace these real live eyes of the animal, his movements.
An incomparable dramatic component. It would seem like a rather banal plot, as a child helped a small animal, made friends with him, they together have to confront these “evil adults” who, due to various circumstances, “hardened” to nature. But here everything was much more competently put together, all the acting characters were well presented and a very important morality was added, which is especially relevant now: “The world is as it is, and a person makes a choice every day in which world he lives, that’s all.” A parallel is drawn with the legendary fairy tale The Little Prince. Its plot core was transferred to the real world, to real problems. For the whole film, tears appeared several times, so deeply everything was presented in this film. We are proud that our cinema is rich in such masterpieces.
A very important detail still needs to be outlined - this is trust not only between animals and humans, but also between adults and children, in this case - adults and adolescents. Usually in films, especially youth, they like to demonstrate the difference in the perception of the world between generations, misunderstanding and non-acceptance of each other. Here, on the contrary, they showed how important their interaction is: the younger generation needs support and assistance from mature and experienced people, and it is important for adults to be able to listen to the younger generation, who can see what they are no longer able to see, can guide adults on the right path and remind them of important human values and humanity. The boy’s kindness, his desire to help were respected by his close adults, they communicated with him seriously, helped not only to put up with, but also to fight injustice, to follow their beliefs and attitudes, did not scold him, and most importantly, they believed him when he felt that something was wrong, or that it was necessary to act quickly. And the main character showed himself to be a noble and conscious person, and not, as we often like to show “rebel teenagers who do not trust anyone.” He listened to the adults close to him, although at first he did not trust them, but in order to help a friend he was ready to answer for his actions, sincerely came to contact with his family, did not reject them, even if he sometimes avoided talking because of various resentments and insecurity. And nature repaid the main characters for good in gratitude for their help. And the audience really needs to convey that together they can become the force that will help overcome everything and everything, save lives, make the world a better place.
Just from the movie. There was a full room. We watched the whole family with the kids, we loved it. Good movie, adventure movie : In particularly acute moments, there was a boy, six years old - very cried. My daughter, like an emotional lady - turned and said that everything would be fine, she believes. The main character of the red fox (in the life of the fox Fedya) is very charming. Nature is amazing. Out of adults, Julia Alexandrova played the best. Very warm and warm. Elisha Chuchulin organically fit with his big eyes. The story is simple, but the rhythm of the narrative is preserved, all in dynamics. And most importantly, good inserts of the Little Prince. The children for the summer, what books to read :) A positive film for children. I recommend watching with children : There will be an emotional component )
My Wildly Boring Friend: A Tale of How Not to Make Touching Stories
"My Wild Friend" is a film that desperately tries to be touching but instead flows smoothly into a hole of predictability and cheap cliches. Inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s classic tale The Little Prince, the film is more like a parody of good old family comedies than a deep drama about the friendship of a child and an animal.
Seventh-grader Sasha is experiencing difficult times in a new school, and in search of solace wanders through the forest, where a fox once saves. A chance meeting with a wild animal is almost a standard move for such films, but the creators did not even bother to make this meeting even a little exciting, remember the classics of the genre, the first meeting of a boy and an orca in Save Willie.
Yulia Alexandrova plays an aunt who was conceived as a caring carer, but her character is so stereotypical that it seems as if she is from a universe where adults express support with constantly the same facial expression. Yuri Kolokolnikov, a caring and wise mentor of little Sasha, deeply repeats the quotes of Severus Snape: “You may not have noticed yet, Potter, but life is not fair at all.” The plot lines with poachers do not look tense enough, Maxim Shchegolev and Evgeny Schwartz turned out to be cartoon villains in the style of Home Alone. They are so clichéd that they seem to have been made in a scoundrel factory. The antagonist from Mikhail Bashkatov came out weak to Cruella De Vil from "101 Dalmatians" to him as far as the moon. Add to that the bullies on bikes chasing the protagonist (Hello from Forrest Gump) and get a cocktail of patterns and stereotypes.
The authors could not convey the suffering of the child abandoned by his mother, the atmosphere of helplessness and loneliness. Sasha’s inner experiences or the real threats he faces remain unfinished, Kurbatova failed to hook the viewer, the nut was out of his teeth. But the landscapes turned out great, the picture is just super, no worse than that of National Geographic, you literally feel the atmosphere of a real forest. Musical accompaniment and camera work are good, but do not save the film from the general feeling of lack of depth.
Despite the interesting premises and touching idea, the project is lost in an attempt to create a deep and emotional story, and instead leaves behind a sense of missed potential and unfinished ideas.
5 out of 10
If you have a true friend, you can call yourself a happy person. He can always talk about his experiences, share the most important, personal, get support and at the same time take care of him, if necessary. Only with a true friend can you live a real life full of emotions and impressions, and I can confidently say that no one will ever replace him. And it does not matter whether it is a person or our smaller brothers - friendship can be born with anyone, anytime, because such is our amazing and unpredictable life. And it was with such a kind and faithful comrade that fate unexpectedly brought the young hero of the new film “My Wild Friend”, and this is exactly the movie that is definitely worth watching. Not only for children, but also for adults.
The plot of the film tells us about a seventh-grader Sasha, whose mother is a famous scientist. And so she again goes on a very important expedition to save the dolphins, while the son remains in the care of his aunt Nina, who with great pleasure looks after his nephew. So now Sasha lives not in Moscow, but in a very cozy and picturesque provincial town, which is surrounded on all sides by the nature of incredible beauty. It would seem that here you can live and enjoy life, but the new classmates somehow immediately disliked Sasha. He can not make friends with them and spends his free time alone walking in the local forest. This is where the most interesting thing begins.
Walking through the forest, Sasha unexpectedly finds a small lost fox, which needs help and attention - he fell into the trap of poachers and cannot get out himself. Of course, Sasha could not pass by such a charming baby and took him under his care. The first thing he found for him was a new place of residence, namely a small abandoned dugout and began to bring him food and water. Gradually, the fox, whom Sasha nicknamed the Red, became a real friend for the boy, who will never betray and is always ready to be near. But the problem here is that the fox, after all, is a wild animal and its place there, in the deep far more often together with its relatives. But until Red is completely safe and can not stand up for himself, Sasha will not be able to leave his friend unattended. At the same time, poachers continue to hunt for the fox, for whom profit is more important than everything else, and therefore Sasha will not be superfluous to enlist the support of both her aunt and her friend the huntsman, who certainly knows how to fight back villains.
The film raises such concepts as true friendship, family, love and hopes. It is very interesting to watch here how the unexpected acquaintance of an ordinary boy and a fox develops, who trusted a person and became a friend for him, whom one can only envy. Sasha is completely imbued with Red, he considers him not just a beast, but a comrade with whom it is much more interesting to spend free time than with his peers, who do not understand him at all. And I will say that the scenes between Sasha and Red have a special warmth and emotionality, and you do not doubt that they are true friends. And therefore, when they have to face poachers, then you begin to really worry about the fate of the fox and seriously worry about Sasha, because he managed to get very close to his friend and he can not calmly watch what is happening in the forest, which poachers consider their full hunting grounds.
I liked the young Elisey Chuchilin in the lead role, whom I remember well in the kind and soulful film “Bulter Terrier”. In My Wild Friend, he is also very convincing and when you watch the film, there is no doubt that a friendship was born between the boy and the fox. Not least because the filming was attended by a real fox and Elisey Chuchilin spent enough time with him and became good friends in fact. So part of what we see in front of us on the screen is the real truth, which means that the film shows us real, genuine emotions. As I know, the authors of My Wild Friend were inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupery's classic tale The Little Prince, which also described the friendship of a boy and a fox. And the spirit of this kind, fascinating book in the film feels very good.
Also noteworthy is Julia Alexandrova, who played Nina, Sasha’s aunt. She tries to give her nephew all the support he needs, and this is definitely a plus in her direction, because she does not consider her nephew a burden. Yes, it was not easy for her to accept that Red is now almost all her free time next to Sasha, but still she steadfastly accepted this information and was not superfluous in such an extraordinary company either.
In addition, I would like to note the fact that Anna Kurbatova’s film was shot in real wilderness, which is its undeniable merit. Yes, it is not easy, but the result was definitely worth all the effort, because when you watch the film, you literally feel the wind blowing, the rustling leaves, the murmur of the water and there is no doubt that the characters are in the forest, and not in some pavilion. This is especially true when watching a movie on the big screen. It was like being in a real forest.
“My Wild Friend” I can confidently call a film that is worth watching with the whole family, because it is an exciting and kind story about the friendship of a boy and a fox. This is a story that will not leave anyone indifferent. It teaches us about true friendship, family and love. This movie definitely deserves your attention.
