To myself. What should I do?
- How do I know?
A dying Russian village is a rare guest in modern cinema. At the same time, perhaps, the topic of the rural traditional way of life that is going back to the past is one of the cornerstones in modern Russian history. And this is not primarily about rural life, but about folk wisdom.
Anna Kuzmin’s film is about this very folk wisdom. In the film, it is organically embodied by Peter Mamonov, who does not have to play anything especially - we know him well in real life, according to his words and deeds.
Photomodel Lena performed by a young actress Anastasia Kuimova from the civilized world, who broke the connection with the “roots”, turns out to be a friend in the world, where the connection of times was not finally interrupted.
Tea to brew is not a tricky thing, but to make it turn out to be pleasant and aromatic, here in addition to skills, mental attitude is important. I think the creators of the film “Tea” it happened. Skillfully combining different cinematic ingredients, they managed to create a soulful modest chamber cinema, clean and fresh as spring water.
My opinion is good.
