I don't talk to dead people. I was going to watch this movie for a long time, but instead I chose others. I finally got here. The plot, like himself, is moved along and across. Movies about abductions of children, whose parents, in order to rescue their children, turn mountains, break everything and everyone, are quite popular to this day, so they are shot regularly. But they're different. I didn't particularly like this movie. But most importantly, it did not cause negative emotions. Although there were moments in it that I was not at all enthusiastic about.
There is no point in saying much about the plot. It is very clear, straightforward and simple. The character of K. Hui is perfectly demonstrated in the initial scene of meeting her. The way it is presented in the description of this picture is absolutely true. She is an exemplary housewife and mother. In the episode of her heroine’s acquaintance with the audience, which turned out to be interesting and to some extent original, she is exactly that. Two hooligans broke into her house, she does not surrender to the police, and decides to re-educate them. That was funny. And in the same scene, we realize that she has a secret past. Further, when the abduction has already taken place and to the end of the tape, it already shows the other side and we get acquainted with it as a real fighter in the literal and figurative sense of the word.
There is little action in the film, the emphasis is shifted in favor of the story. In the end, as is usually the case, the main action is concentrated. hand-to-hand contractions are set quite well, there is nothing to complain about, the operator does not fail, the installation is also cleverly made in such scenes. But the installation of some others surprised me unpleasantly. Repeatedly there was a feeling that a decent-sized piece was just ripped out of the film. A lot of events remained behind the scenes, thanks to a kind of editing. But it was not always, but only in a couple of moments, so the film did not spoil much.
The main villain, despite the fact that he is played by the famous and experienced Hong Kong actor S. Yam, turned out to be boring and faceless. I don't know why, maybe I'm wrong, but I think he wasn't allowed to turn around. The screen time of his character was not enough, he did not show a special game. His actions and decisions seemed strange. Even his henchmen remembered me better and had more screen time, respectively, managed to show more, especially when it comes to fights. But there were questions, as well as the main villain. Then they want to kill the main character, then they do not want to and leave her alive. Such situations arise in the film periodically up to the very end, causing confusion. In addition, the plot sags in places and therefore often gets bored, immediately reach for the button to see how long the movie will last. And it's already short.
This is not the best movie about the abduction of a child and the subsequent rescue of his parents. The unfinished script does not present anything new, the action to pull, little, the main villain came out no. I could not have seen it at all.
