World War II, 1944, France. A group of five American infantrymen are sent to guard a grim mansion once occupied by the Nazis. They must change another troop of soldiers, and immediately proceed to the guard.
Rare clashes with the Nazis are accompanied by the special cruelty inherent in wartime. The mansion itself is rather gloomy, soon some damn thing begins to happen. It's not really scary at all.
If that were the end of it, it would be a second-rate horror movie. But the ending is very, very unexpected, in the spirit of "Source Code."
In the course of the film, clues were provided that, it would seem, should hint to the viewer at the essence of what is happening, but in fact, until you look to the end, the film looks quite primitive with cheap special effects, albeit with beautiful scenery. And only the ending allows you not to give this story about ghosts negative characterization.

Ghosts of War is a very original and original project, mixing at first glance completely different genres and plots into a unique mix, preparing for the viewer an extremely interesting spectacle with plot twists.
The story unfolds in the 40s and introduces the viewer to a squad of fighters who occupy the old mansion, where the German headquarters was previously located. However, immediately the soldiers begin to notice strange phenomena occurring on the territory of the house, but an order is an order. Our heroes stay in the mansion overnight, facing frightening and inexplicable things.
Ghosts of War is both a war movie and a mystical horror movie. An interesting mix that works surprisingly well. To a greater extent, of course, it is still mysticism. The main timekeeping is devoted to the development of this plot. But forget that the action of the picture takes place during the war, the creators also do not give. The viewer is waiting for a full combat scene, staged quite well.
But in addition to this, “Ghosts of War” prepares a plot twist that turns everything upside down. In itself, the plot twist is not bad, but at the same time to some extent expected. That is, the tape throws hints that not everything is as simple as it seems at first glance.
In the main cast flew from the actors I know Brenton Thwaites and Alan Richson, who together star in the Titans. That’s all that can be said about the cast. Outstanding images were not presented to us, although Brenton Thwaites diligently plays everything that is required by the script.
In general, Ghosts of War is a worthy fantastic film that skillfully plays with genres and knows how to captivate the viewer. I recommend it.
An interesting and not ordinary film, when watching a whole bunch of guesses that is happening on the screen, in general, the film looked good, but towards the end, everything turns upside down, and like you look further, and then the film boom, the movie is sharply cut off, there are no endings, I generally noticed a recent trend, some films are shot either with a vague ending, or without it at all, you need to tie the filmmakers with this. . . 7 out of 10.
'House with ghosts' - a theme, the implementation of which began in the days of silent cinema. It would seem that new can be invented in the framework of an uncomplicated plot? Except to modify the narrative, making it multi-layered, and to give information dosed, keeping the viewer for the time being in the dark. But first, we will be fed a tasteless porridge of all possible clichés characteristic of bad horror.
In such films, I am primarily interested not in the picture, not special effects, not musical accompaniment and not even acting. Much more valuable - the correspondence of the plot to the internal logic of the idea, put in the basis of the script. In ' Ghosts of War' things with logic are not bad, however, the understanding of this comes far from immediately, only at the moment of explaining the cause of events.
It is possible to suspect something wrong from the very first frame. As the plot develops, suspicions grow stronger and in a number of episodes can cause bewilderment in the viewer, when there are strange reactions of the characters to typical seemingly situations, more than once played in other horror films. You can blame it on mediocre implementation, or you can think about the question: ' Is this story so simple?'
In ' Ghosts of War' we see U.S. Army fighters numbering less than half the unit. If you were to show the maneuver group 'C', the so-called 'Charlie' it should have six people, not five. Experienced guys have no food or radio. Soldiers go inexplicably on their way through the territory, where there is a risk of running into motorized groups of the enemy who did not lay down their arms.
Suspicious second-level events begin when the characters intend to leave the damned house. The third level of suspicion arises after the strange behavior of ghosts, suddenly no longer distinguishing between evil occupiers and good liberators. Until the very end, the viewer does not understand the true causes of the hellishness happening on the screen, perceiving all this classic ' machinations of evil spirits'.
The denouement puts everything in its place, but only in terms of explaining the story, not a clear conclusion. The storyline rests on a dead end, although one of the characters promised to change something. As some critics like to say, ' the final is hopelessly fused'. I had a strong feeling that funding for film production suddenly stopped, and as a result, the tape was edited from what was filmed.
If the final was conceived in this way, then I would venture to assume that the authors hinted at the meaninglessness of the victims of any wars, on the mutilated bodies and souls of surviving soldiers, who are not let go of the memory of the horrors of past battles and tormented by guilt for the innocently lost representatives of the civilian population. It is regrettable that the ending turned out to be crumpled and deprived of proper design.
This is Nazi-occupied France, 1944. A small detachment of American soldiers selflessly fights against the Nazis in a country mansion, where not only cold-blooded murders occur, but also all the hell. Who is the enemy of the main characters? Nazis or supernatural forces? We’ll find out at the end of the movie.
“The Butterfly Effect” director Eric Bress returns to cinema after 17 years. The question is why? To transfer your paranormal phenomena during the Second World War?
Let’s see what happened:
First, this “film shoot” misfires in all genres. Especially in horror. The film features hackneyed tricks such as “squeeze if scary,” self-closing doors, communication with the other world via radio, and the dull silence of the characters until the poltergeist taps in front of them. From the movement of the camera and the frames, even an inexperienced viewer will guess, if he does not fall asleep from boredom, that something otherworldly will appear the next second. How and whom such clichés can scare, I do not mind.
The music disappointed, too. I'm idle. There is no development in it, it sounds as if on the sidelines, does not attract attention. That's second.
However, at one point, the film gave hope with a glimpse of fiction, and it’s as much a plus as seeing Billy Zane of the Titanic dressed as a Nazi major, but the sharp plot twist ruined absolutely everything! Such a flight of the author’s thought for the sake of a convenient conclusion of the story for me was a blow below the belt. In this film, the script is stupid and convenient for the final, as well as ragged editing, sudden makeup of battle wounds, stupid dialogue and all the above. My disappointment is 4 out of 10.
As a result, the movie turned out to be dull, despite the intriguing at first plot, built on the principle of “King of the Mountain”: first the Germans were knocked out of the castle by Americans, who are exchanged for other Americans, and they in turn will be knocked out by other Germans, and a thread with ghosts in the house is weaved into this tangle. There is clearly no oil in this salad and a lot of rotten vegetables, and spices in the form of a temporary loop can not save this. It's not worth watching.
To be honest, I don’t even know why I started watching this movie. Very weak and uninteresting. The ending, as many have noted, finished the film. I don't recommend it.
A few American soldiers arrive at a French castle, which they must control before a new group takes over. Those whom the main characters change on the watch, for some reason all sleep in the same room and categorically refuse to talk about why their eyes are rounded with horror. After a while, this five is in the grip of fear, as something terrible lurks in the walls of the house, which is really even worse than the nightmares of war.
The film is directed by Eric Bress, who directed the famous “The Butterfly Effect” with Ashton Ku(a)thatcher. And “Ghosts” of the war became only his second directorial experience. As a writer or producer, he wasn’t very bright either. Despite such a long 17-year hiatus, the director remained true to himself, shooting another rather creepy story about reality and what lies beyond it. Although it is not worth comparing “The Butterfly Effect” and “Ghosts of War” – they are essentially different films.
“Ghosts” intriguingly wraps the plot around the theme of the Second World War and otherworldly forces, defeating several people in the old castle. The idea looks interesting from the point of view that a certain devil is opposed by soldiers who are accustomed to rely on their experience and on a sober, objective perception of reality. And when “something goes wrong” and they can’t explain something due to inexplicability, a kind of “phase shift” occurs and the familiar world collapses. They are used to obeying orders and pulling the trigger is what they do best. And no one said that they would have to fight entities that they had never heard of!
You know, I didn't need a horror movie like this to have perfumes, locks, feared people, unexpected plot twists. As I watched it, I thought I wanted to see something like this. As if from “Ghosts of War” smelled old school and this movie reminded of old horror films and mystical tapes like “Ghosts of the House on the Hill”, “Others” with Nicole Kidman and other films.
The beginning, as well as the middle part of the picture, are kept in suspense and even at the expense of seemingly familiar, but looking somehow special, screenmers, frightening. The finale sags slightly due to the fact that it is not very successful to explain and link everything that happened. Although the idea is good - it is not necessary to deny it. It has an interesting directorial idea. A kind of message to the horrors of war, making people completely different personalities. The explanation from a scientific point of view, in my opinion, should have been more detailed, so that the viewer did not have questions about forms and methods.
The plot of the film, as well as the scene with a crashed medical car in the middle of the hilly terrain, throws food for thought to the viewer, further confusing its narrative. So did the appearance of Billy Zane in Nazi form. There is clearly something wrong, because can not the actor (even if he is not always involved in solid projects) with a big name appear in the picture for just a few minutes? There are many versions of what happened - each of them takes place for life, since it is not clear what the five main characters had to face: a time loop, evil spirits, retribution for their own sins or all together. . .
But look at you. I do not impose my opinion on anyone.
The positive feedback, in my opinion, is misleading. So I'm writing my own.
The film is presented in three genres, which I will now analyze:
Horror. In this film, very mediated and familiar ' Scarecrows' intertwined with nou... almost realistic blood and intestines. But the first and second are a little bit.
Something mystical and otherworldly looks flat and beaten.
Thriller. Is he here? The scenery is theatrical, and the characters are wooden, you do not believe them, you do not worry about them, let them all be cut in a meat grinder - they do not cause any feelings. The whole atmosphere of the film is not alarming. It's too much on the surface. For example, clues about the essence of the whole story begin with the first frame, and continue to fall rough on us throughout the film.
Military. The action takes place allegedly during the war. That's all.
In my opinion, there is no acting.
The plot is medium, quite beaten, but has the right to life if it was implemented a little more interesting, spectacular. There was no budget available.
Just as he was missing a good schedule.
In general, boring, not interesting, and it is unclear why such a film at all?
As a result,
To enjoy this film you need to be a completely unsophisticated viewer.

In horror films, the action of which unfolds during the Second World War, not so many options for the opponents of the main characters are used. In most cases, they are Nazi zombies (“Dead Snow”, “Overlord”)
“Ghosts of War,” as the name suggests, took a different path.
The story. A group of American soldiers must guard the estate in which the Nazis were based. And they will have to protect it not only from the retreating Nazis, but also from the ghosts who live in the house.
Pros: The original plot, with an unexpectedly non-trivial ending that turns everything upside down and, oddly enough, once again shows that the ghosts of war existed, exist and will exist while wars go on. As a result of the film, the ambiguity of its title deserves only respect, as well as the idea that responsibility for one’s promises and deeds must be borne regardless of the period of war.
Cons. With a good prologue and an excellent epilogue, the center of the film “hangs” on many issues, including relationships within the group, where everyone sees something, but does not tell the other (don’t forget – the action takes place in a combat situation). In fact, the middle of the film is quite predictable and standard.
In general, we have a good thriller / horror story on the theme of war, which should appeal to both those who love movies on military themes and fans of horror films, and the ending is a bonus for both.
6 out of 10
All sorts of horror movies about a whole bunch of haunted houses were considered something banal 20 years ago, or even 30 years ago. Well, maybe with thirty I still bent, but the fact is that it is all so ordinary and frankly standard that seeing another similar horror movie, you just want to turn it off. And then it is important for the creators to come up with some tricks, to lure the viewer to view, which was partly suggested by the director and screenwriter of the cult “The Butterfly Effect”. We are talking about Eric Bress, who disappeared from any radar for a relatively long time. And now, I understand why he disappeared from them, after watching "Ghosts of War" it's like something natural. And now I even think that The Butterfly Effect was just some kind of total accident in Bress' meager career. In addition, he managed to work on the series “Destination”, but after “Ghosts of War”, this person can again be removed in a long box.
The film takes place during the Second World War, in the territory occupied by German troops France. A small group of five people make their way to the place of their mission. The thing is that the guys are instructed to gain a foothold on the territory of a huge old mansion, which is an important strategic point. And having replaced the previous detachment of allies, scared to hell of staying in this very mansion, the guys are faced with things so inexplicable and unreal that they come to no less horror, and begin to realize that the danger can come not only from soldiers in Nazi uniforms, but also from what is hidden in the bowels of the mansion.
The film in general skillfully attracts attention with its setting and atmosphere. It is enough to just watch the trailer of the picture in order to film at least a little, but at the same time already in absentia you like. But the point is that the trailer brought together all the best that is in “Ghosts of War”. Or even not, it’s just a collection of cool shots and sketches that promise something intriguing. In fact, the whole intrigue disappears in about twenty minutes, or even less, exactly by the time a detachment of soldiers comes to this very mansion, where the unimaginable banalism begins. And if you've seen at least one horror movie about old haunted houses, you know what I mean. But how promising was the task of the local detachment of allies and the beginning of its execution. In addition, the picture is not deprived of a relatively talented cast, part of which was lit up in the television series “Titans” – another superhero, which, however, is not of the most shameful quality. People seem to even try, but the fact is that they just have nothing to play here, because most of the film is something cardboard, and we are not talking now about the scenery, especially since this aspect is done here in general well.
The “Ghosts of War” are trying desperately to catch at least something, even with the excruciating cries of a wounded comrade, or a group of starving Jews, whom a detachment stumbles upon in the course of the action. Alas, but all these are just images that are needed for emotions, but the emotions themselves are not. In addition, all this is aggravated by the fact that the picture by the beginning of its second half passed some wild montage, and it seems that it mercilessly cut part of the necessary narrative content. Closer to the final, the creators even manage to give out one plot trump card, which, however, five minutes later, manage to simply level out some drag, and attempts to explain what is happening on the screen. Alas, in the plot plan, these attempts were somewhere at the level of mediocrity.
'Ghosts of War' - a very interesting movie, the plot and genre of which is not as simple as it may seem at first glance. At first, the authors throw the viewer into the pool of a military-historical mystical film, but closer to the final, the concept completely changes, opening the door to new impressions both in the framework of dramaturgy and in the genre component.
For the script and production is responsible Eric Bress, whose name is not as well known as his work, or rather the only picture in the director's filmography. His legendary film ' The Butterfly Effect' is included in all sorts of tops of the best films of our time (as a screenwriter are such films as ' Destination Point 2 and 4'). And 17 years later, Eric again sits in the chair of the director, trying to give the audience another exciting story with an unusual plot. But, unfortunately, the problem is that the author was simply late with his masterpiece, as something similar was already in other paintings. The plot, although original in itself, but the author's twists and a radical change in genre orientation is a far new phenomenon in world cinema. Of course, as a reference, one famous film can be cited, which accurately reveals the full potential of this picture, but this should not be done so as not to deprive the viewer of himself to witness an interesting transformation of the structure of the plot narrative.
To begin with, I want to warn you that the film, although declared in the genre of horror, but it is not. The director absolutely does not know how to frighten and create a mystical atmosphere of intense horror. All boo-effects are banal to shame. There is no truly scary or exciting moment in terms of visualization. Therefore, to many, the first half of the film may seem absolutely mediocre and uninteresting, although the creators actively tried to cover the inconclusive mysticism with a more spectacular texture of military action, which here just looks very high quality. It is possible that some may be confused by the young age of the heroes for such a serious war film, but here is actually not a casting error, since, according to the plot, their age is fully justified in the final denouement.
In general, as they say, it is better to see once than to hear a hundred times and accidentally stumble upon spoilers. In any case, the film is worthy of attention, although the director lacks stars from the sky. This is an average, but at the same time a good movie for one-time viewing.
Once director and screenwriter Eric Bress had high expectations and was rightly considered one of the most interesting directors of his generation. Bress was never particularly interested in big money and scope, because in his stories he first explored all the subtleties and problems of human relationships, locked in the conditions of something extraordinary, whether it is a kind of time loop or a race with death itself. Trying to work out the scripts of his own tapes to the smallest detail, Bress generously shared successful ideas with his colleagues, but after his script became the main one for the second part of “Destination” & #39; the cinematographer finally decided that he would also not be superfluous to personally manage the creative process on the set, from which the development and subsequent implementation of “The Butterfly Effect” & #39; he no longer let go of his hands. And as practice shows, Bress quite brilliantly can combine two key functions in one project at once and with a competent approach to the matter, it can turn out neither much nor less, but a real masterpiece. However, after the triumphant premiere 'The Butterfly Effect' Eric Bress left Hollywood and decided to minimize his participation in modern cinema. A couple of scripts, written by him after the temporary adventures of the hero Ashton Kutcher, did not bring much fame to his creator, and now quite unexpectedly for everyone in 2020, Bress suddenly returns with his new author's project, called ' Ghosts of War'. It was logical to believe that the person who wrote the intriguing plot twists for Destination 2' and gave us the first and best ' The Butterfly Effect' knows exactly what to surprise, but this time everything did not turn out as smoothly as many expected. At the same time, it is also impossible to call the film a failure, because in the case of Bress, even with the worst artistic scenarios, everything does not come out so simple.
Directly the film takes us to the time of World War II, when the global conflict has already marked a serious turning point in the direction of the Allies, but this does not mean that the Germans are ready to surrender. At the head of the story is the five young American soldiers represented by Chris Goodson (Bredton Thwaites), Kirk (Theo Rossi), Eugene (Skylar Astin), Tapper (Kyle Gallner) and Butchi (Alan Richson). Having landed in Europe, the heroes fully appreciated on their own example what a real war is and to get out of this heat, they need to make difficult decisions, and sometimes even cross certain lines altogether, just to give way to bitter emotions that can decompose the mind. In war, there are no saints, and even the most righteous will sometimes go where otherwise he would never have taken his feet, but in this situation it is important to keep a part of his true being, so as not to turn into the monster with which you are fighting. But even with all the horrors of war that Chris and his comrades-in-arms saw, and sometimes even committed, they were not prepared for what lay ahead. Having received an order from the command to go to the French castle liberated from the German command, the soldiers went to the place to hold it for a certain time. On the one hand, the task looks extremely simple and seemingly not the most difficult, but soon it becomes clear that something supernatural has turned out to be in the castle and it is better just to fight the Nazis than to be in luxurious rooms next to ghosts who absolutely do not care who to terrorize.
Movies such as ' Ghosts of War' are not as straightforward and simple as they may seem, and on closer examination it is easy to find hidden hints and moves that at a certain point literally turn the perception of history on its head. In a similar vein, M. Night Shyamalan once felt great, and Eric Bress decided to return to him, who thought in Ghosts of War & #39; to show us something more than a military film intertwined with mystical horror. The idea of the director turned out to be really extraordinary and to feel all its charm, it is necessary to watch the film to the very end, but before waiting for the climax, you need to go through a long and partly mediocre path, during which something extraordinary does not always occur. Having demonstrated to us a rather convincing military action with a befitting naturalism, Bress subsequently leads his story to a mysticism that in some ways resembles the Infernal Bunker & #39; and the Death Guard & #39, only with a slightly smaller scope and dynamics. Having imprisoned his characters within the luxurious castle, the director unfolds a somewhat tiring and completely leisurely spectacle, during which it would be possible to reveal the characters of each of the five heroes, but this was not done completely.
Against the background of completely predictable frightening moments, we observe far from the most interesting relationships between the characters, played by very successful young performers. It is rather strange that Bress, being a master of unconventional plot, catchy dialogues and vivid images, was so negligent in revealing his characters to us. Perhaps he simply lost his grip or did not gain the necessary creative conditions in order to return to directing with fanfare. Factors explaining this state of affairs can be very different, but it is clear here that Bress threw all his forces at the climax, on which he made special bets. And despite the fact that the middle part of the story was not at all as intriguing as we would like, the dashing introduction and unexpected ending make this film an honor. The creator ' Ghosts of War' never abandoned the non-standard transformation of genres, from which his films so much attracted attention, and this story, despite all mistakes, is no exception. Together with military drama and mysticism, we also received from Bress a persistent fantastic bias, which can be safely called the highlight of this production. Used in the places where it should have been, the effect of its presence is really considerable and it has full meaning. So, closer to the climax, everything that the author wanted to tell us is clear, but it is a pity that he did not fully work out all aspects of the script, in which there was too much room for conventional mediocrity.
In the end, I want to say that “Ghosts of War” may well interest the viewer, who misses the true films-turnovers, where all the secret does not immediately become obvious. At the same time, Eric Bress made mistakes that he will not easily forgive. However, the film will find its audience anyway.
History immerses us during World War II, where five sturdy American soldiers are ordered to guard an old castle liberated from intrusive fascists. The main characters have already dreamed of this unexpected and pleasant respite, when you can impassively lie by the fireplace with a papyroska in your teeth, but on the first night in the house there is a real devil, pushing, so, the restless situation. . .
A British horror film about a mysterious haunted house. The project with a small budget, but shot qualitatively, and a simple CGI graphic does not cause tomato juice from the eyes.
The film gradually escalates intrigue, sometimes keeps in anxiety and tension, and is also able to please a couple of unexpected twerks that fundamentally turn the plot. Most likely, the spectator experienced in horror will unravel the idea of the director, because such curtseys have already been in the cinema, although not often (and I will not say in which, so as not to spoil), but interest in viewing this does not diminish.
The picture can be criticized for some predictable scarecrows, inconsistencies in the script and not always logical behavior of the characters, but at the same time it is impossible to break away from it - a paradox. The tape causes curiosity and does not stall in the narrative, and an hour and a half fly by imperceptibly - the screamers are replaced by action, the action goes into bacchanalia, bacchanalia into a tragic drama, the drama returns to a nightmare in reality.
Moral: ghosts can be a good neighbor, if you agree that they do not disturb you during the day, and you them at night.
In the end, the movie doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but if you like it, you’ll probably want to revisit it because of the ending.

The writer of two “Assignments” and “The Butterfly Effect” after 17 years again takes the director’s chair – this time in a mystical horror film with a light seasoning of the military atmosphere. I think only the lazy did not get to the horror genre and each time with the same tricks, horror stories and similar results. So Eric Bress drives his brave five British soldiers into a lonely mansion in the middle of the fields of France. More like a castle, filled, by the way, with numerous oddities and mysterious phenomena.
The plot move “mystical house” is one of the four classic bases of a horror film, and perhaps the most common among them. Dozens of such films are released annually. However, you will agree that military-mystical paintings are not often found. Perhaps this is the only highlight of “Ghosts of War”, although I remember “The Sanctuary of the Red Sands” (2009), “On the Guard of Death” (2002) and, of course, the South Korean “Point-R” (2004), to which the creation of E. Bress is far, at least in terms of suspense.
All these sudden appearances in mirrors, mysterious creaks and circles on the floor, the ghost that Morse is trying to convey his messages, sharp changes in sound – we have already met more than once. From that it was worth hoping only for the rich creative experience of the writer and director, worthy paintings in the luggage of which is enough. However, when in the second ten minutes, instead of questioning the captured German officer, Kirk calls him to a fist fight ... for fun - already somehow becomes funny from what is happening. E. Bress thinks his audience is a fool? Illogical behavior in each of the characters is more than enough. Why not, for example, search the castle before settling in it or collect information from each other about what they saw – no, everyone will endure what they saw alone. The brave soldiers will not find out what is happening until the classic 40 minutes laid down in the basics of the script have passed. With the advent of the German patrol and what is happening next, a certain phantasmagoria begins, which at first captures, but soon is perceived ridiculously absurd. And if you still manage to watch the film to the final scene, you will find an even greater absurdity. In general - everything as always, according to low-budget author's horror films with a claim to the depth of pathos. In this regard, you will not discover anything new with this film.
As for the main characters, the creators of “Ghosts of War” did not even try to show the character of their characters. Five identical soldiers, thinking, feeling, acting the same way. In this regard, only the hero of Brenton Thwaites is trying to understand something and, having changed himself, change the plot. We’ve seen something similar in the author’s The Butterfly Effect. However, he did not go beyond the idea this time. That's when "Ghosts of War" turns into a carousel of delirium with the Afghan Taliban, a looped plot, secret laboratories. The final scenes completely ruined the viewing experience. As if the creators ran out of all ideas and funding - crumpled, played and absolutely unrelated.
Interestingly, although the film takes place mainly in France, the filming took place mainly in Bulgaria - the cities of Varna and Sofia. The role of the French castle was performed by the Royal Palace in Varna. The filming began in the spring of 2017, but the final work on “Ghosts of War” was only three years later.

Eric Bress with his film ' Ghosts of War' stepped back and disappointed. After watching it 'The Butterfly Effect', the question arises, why, after 17 years, create 'such'? After reading the movie's logline, you think, ' not a bad idea, you need to see'. But later you realize that you should have stopped to read the description of this picture and look for another film.
There are many flaws in the plot, unnatural play of actors. This mixture of shortcomings, knocks out of the rut of comfortable viewing. No reaction to what's going on, at least until the middle of the movie. That feeling, everything that happens around them, has nothing to do with it. What's the motivation for heroes? Perhaps it is, but poorly spelled out in the script.
The muted colors that characterize military operations. The shape of the characters merges with the environment in which they are. This correctly emphasizes that the characters merged with this time and events. The dialogue is simple.
The action mainly takes place in one location. It's not a horror movie, nor is it a military movie. There is no reality of what is happening. It’s a myth that you don’t take seriously.
The ending is dynamic. You don't know what's going on. Gradually you start thinking, thinking about it all, but the connection slips away. There's no clear idea.
I have no right to recommend this kind of film. Take full responsibility for yourself. This film is not terrible, but it does not reach the middle.
