depressive If I were to put it into words, this picture said to me, ‘I know how lost you are, and I don’t blame you.’
Perhaps, I will divide the review into two parts: I will begin with the sensual and end with a sketch-analysis.
At the moment, I’m in clinical depression – I think my experience somehow overlaps with that of the charming Paz character – that was the decisive reason I loved this movie. The most superficial and voluminous feeling for me was a sense of alignment with what is happening on the screen, increasing with each second of viewing. Yes, it is boring to write about it, but I like the colors of the picture, I like the face of the main character, I like the love storyline. So, through the screen and the images, through the charm, I find a place to empathize with myself.
Analytically, you can also approach the film, talking about the problems of sacralization of motherhood and the stigmatization of mental disorders.
I definitely recommend watching for lovers of sad and terrible pictures. The film is full of tenderness, color and bitterness.
