Atmospheric and interesting Very unusual, and, as they say now, atmospheric, turned out mini-series Starz. Well, he's extraordinary because he was filming in Georgia. It could not be otherwise, given the main plot thread of the series.
So, once upon a time, after the Flood, a strange settlement appeared, divided into two parts by a mysterious energy wall. Thus, two cities were formed - Alcona and Bagel. One immigrant won't let him in: he's clean, rich, and the residents of Beigel are doing cleaning jobs there. Bagel is filled with people of different nationalities, poor and dirty. In the city of Beigel lives the main character – police inspector Berlu, who investigates another “mysterious murder”, from which the plot begins to twist.
The series has everything that is needed, according to modern creationists: a dead beautiful girl, a chip with divided cities, and even with a third invisible. The unsightly activities of the Americans, who are buying up a new raw material colony with nasty methods, and the mysterious organization “Rupture”, about which everyone talks, but nobody has seen. Oh, yes, there is also the main character with an unhappy fate, suffering from short schizophrenic attacks-combacks, but, as befits the main character, well performing his duties. He is played by David Morrissey, known to me for his role as the cunning sadist legate Aulus in the TV series Britannica.
Personally, I liked the movie best. Poor Bagel's entourage. From all over Georgia, VAZ sixes, Niva and GAZ-24 Volga were collected, on which city dwellers move. The letter is Albanian and the radio announces in Romanian. Home appliances at the level of lamp TVs, video recorders "Electronics" and computers under MS-DOS (well, where they can still be typed, if not in the former Soviet Republic). In Alcone, as you can guess, everything is modern, up to the latest BMW models. They use Georgian writing, but they say, in general, it is not clear in which.
We conclude: for lovers of detectives and non-trivial primitive thrash mini-series will be pleasant for rest. In a special delight will not lead, but will not disappoint and leave an impression.
