The beginning is completely taken from the film Furious 3 & #39; Tokyo Drift', the student has done business and is sent to re-education.
Then begins just the nonsense of a madman, absolutely ridiculous situations, incompatible with logic.
The finale of the picture beats all records for stupidity, no denouement of a romantic story, nothing, just the credits begin, as if the authors of this creation were just tired and decided to finish.
2. Actors' play
Everything is very bad, and the selection of actors and their play.
The protagonist looks like a 5th year student of the university, but in the plot he is a schoolboy, his father and mother are more like his older brother and sister.
Everyone plays extremely unconvincingly, dialogue and paphos cut your eyes.
3. Video sequence and presentation
A film about racing implies the awareness of the author in racing, especially if most of the film is shown with a cartridge, which implies professional racing equipment, but no.
The film does not shed any light on racing culture, there is not a single term from motorsport.
A separate mention requires the choice of cars in the film about racing and motorsport.
First, the hero breaks the old Volvo of his mother, the Volvo of this 100 years at lunch, the price of which does not exceed 100 thousand rubles.
And a cool businessman from Rostov, a street racer part-time drives the Mustang of the 90s (this is not the mustang that looks like a mustang, but the one that looks like an ordinary soap box), the price of this car does not exceed 500 thousand rubles, that is cheaper than Solaris.
Choosing a car in 2020 looks very funny, since the events of the film take place in our time.
Shooting is extremely mediocre, there is no dynamics or incandescence.
Summary
This film causes a fit 'Spanish shame' that is, it is so bad that you are ashamed of those people who starred in it and who released it in the rental.
This is a fairly simple story not only about generational conflict and how it is resolved. There are also lav stories and good messages to the younger generation.
And served without wild and kanda moralization. And, what is now a huge rarity, there is not a single hint of vulgarity, which in modern comedies, especially from one famous channel, simply blooms with a stormy color.
I note that there is no high density of humor, but there are a number of successful jokes, and the best of them is about one famous rapper.
The lightness of the story also captivates. There are no strange and logical twists and the authors do not try to invent a wheel unknown to science and make the viewer drive around on a bizarre design.
But in the end, something was missing. As well as the culmination of history. Well, maybe 10-20 minutes of timekeeping would not hurt.
For the cast you can definitely praise - before us fresh and not worn on the screens faces that played quite convincingly. And the selection of performers as such is quite itself on a beautiful Western level. I have a lot of respect for being in good shape.
As a result, this is an example of a good and watchable romantic comedy for family viewing, which was not enough at all in some positions.
Before I started watching the film, I ran my eyes through the cast, and immediately my eyes caught on Vladimir Steklov’s line. The first emotion is nostalgia, the second is the warmth of the soul that came in the distant past from the warrant officer in the famous teenage series ' Cadetship'. He brought up the Kremlin cadets, and now he took on a more difficult task.
The main character Artemka, a representative of the golden Moscow youth, after seriously disobeying his parents, goes for the Moscow Ring Road (?) to the South of Russia in exile to his grandfather, Yegor Matveevich. From the very first shots it becomes extremely clear that the problem of fathers and children in this family is transmitted from generation to generation, and the issue of upbringing and lack of understanding is quite acute.
And while his grandfather teaches local children karting and the art of racing (he himself is a former sports star), Artyom will have to get used to the strict regime, change his habits, abandon bluster and the desire to show off on Instagram live in fashionable locations, learn to walk the track instead of on the car, fight for the honor of the family and, of course, fall in love with the first beauty of the circuit.
For 95 minutes of screen time, I have never been bored. Yes, the picture is not shining with shooting at high speed, and the heart does not freeze on turns, racing cars look simple and look not like professional cars, but ordinary slightly touched by tuning, on which street racers are dissected in empty parking lots. However, the idea is clearly visible that no matter what cool car you have, the main thing is to remain a Human.
There was a little lack of interpersonal relations and a greater deepening in family ties, the film stubbornly focused on Artem, and the rest seemed to be forgotten, but there was enough sun and color of the southern town. And I also wanted to recall again the need for speed, some of the footage of the film was directly carried away to the far ' racing' past.
I recommend the film to anyone who likes easy storytelling, wind in his hair, thirst for speed and, of course, the bright colors of summer, which is not far off.
Initially, after seeing the cover, reading the title, it seems that the film is a kind of Russian parody of the Fast and Furious, and the like. In fact, this is not the case.
In fact, it turned out a kind, family picture, which will pleasantly decorate your evening.
After watching the movie “At Speed”, you immediately plunge into your childhood, which was so warm and cozy as grandparents in the village.
The film tells about the true family values, which in our time, unfortunately, go far from the first plan.
In my opinion, the actors were selected for their roles flawlessly.
Vladimir Steklov, as always, coped with his role perfectly.
The new protagonist - Denis Nurulin, has charisma and looking at him in the screen - a smile appears by itself. A nice guy who attracts the eyes of young girls.
The plot is a youth melodrama, where the eternal problem of fathers and children rises.
In the family of Artem there is a misunderstanding, and as a result, he is sent for re-education to his grandfather in the village. But the grandfather, it turns out, is not easy, he is famous for being an experienced rider in the past. He will spend the whole summer with the main character.
Vacations in the village become the most important event for Artem - he meets his first love. . .
And it is not smooth here - for his feelings he will need to enter the fight against an unequal rival - major, played by Kirill Kaganovich.
The film is perfect for family viewing and will brighten up any dull evening with its plot.
Anyway, I recommend it!
General impression: The love of cars, speed and thirst for adrenaline in the capital's teenager Artem in the blood from the famous grandfather, an experienced racer in the past, who lives in the south of the country. It is here that he will spend this summer the main character and meet his first love there. To win the heart of the girl, Artem will have to face a series of troubles and even participate in races with his rival, the local major, showing what he is worth - to compete for the girl of his dreams and find himself real.
In a dynamic narrative intertwined echoes of the film about education. The hero of the plot comes to the village to his grandfather, not so much Artem is happy with this situation, but he has no way out. Over time, our hero not only falls in love with the local flavor, he does not want to leave! And then there's that girl and the first awkward moment. The boy's attitude is combat, and Grandpa needs help! The hero for the film changes, his character is revealed, by the way, on Artem and a big focus, here perhaps a minus, since the rest of the characters are only a secondary shadow, wandering from episode to episode. But perhaps, focusing on the young boy, the author of the film wanted to show growing up, because the hero is a schoolboy in the film. And in a short period of time, there's so much going on in his life that you don't want to grow up! And even though sometimes turns are trivial, and you can easily guess what will happen next, nevertheless, the short timekeeping - 95 minutes - looks fascinating.
As for the actors, I would like to highlight Vladimir Steklov, he plays a strict grandfather very well. You can't spoil it! So, what does Glass show from the very first frames? The pressure in character indicates that a person with a rod. You bet! Former racer. It may be a stereotype, but who will forbid me to imagine otherwise?
The roar of the engine, the race and the juicy summer picture (well, there is not enough summer now), well, who will refuse this? Of course, sports racing here is not enough, there is more attention to conscience and honor, but nevertheless, the movie does not burden, and its light veil gives an excellent arrangement: evil must necessarily win, away from treachery! You have to live in a way that is respected. There are morals and family values, and the motivation in the plot does not limp. It is quite suitable to brighten up the weekend, after work days, the very same!

All right, flyers? If you learned this quote, then you watched in ... childhood ... youth ... the series Cadetship and remember the charismatic ensign performed by Vladimir Steklov. Actually, seeing it on the poster I wanted to see the film ' At Speed'.
The main character of Artyom for guilt parents ' sent ' in the province to the grandfather, who teaches children racing in karting. And as they say, here you go.
The film as a whole turned out well, but not without flaws. The story is painfully familiar, we have seen it very, very many times: the hero is a jerk, leaves the comfort zone, faces an unusual life and gradually begins to change, and all this revolves around some occupation. The only thing that stands out here, among others like this, is that in the center of the plot of karting, and not ordinary racing, or any other mainstream sport.
The movie is also very naive. That's really good. It is as if the action takes place a little in a parallel universe.
Well, the last drawback, apparently, the budget of the film was small, and therefore the races are not as dynamically filmed as expected on the pitch. But to give credit, this is not trying to hide the editing madness, as it was, for example, in 'Streetracers' Fisenko and, God forgive me, 'Adventure Seekers'.
But in general, not to say that all of the above greatly spoils the film. The characters are pleasant to watch, the acting is mostly good, there are good jokes. And in general ' at speed ' quite easy to look, and leaves behind a pleasant aftertaste.
Conclusion: not a masterpiece, but you can watch
