Apocalyptic horror I'll be brief, let's watch:
1) 'Domestic' The hero finds himself in the clutches of a maniac, where he becomes the object of very unpleasant torture and humiliation. Despite the fact that the finale of this anthology looks a little absurd and banal style, yet it absolutely does not stretch the short film. 3 out of 10
2) 'One careful owner' Not the most pious employee of the salon of supported cars named Terry was kidnapped by one of the buyers. It turns out that the kidnapper had one ' unpaid bill' to his victim. Although the story is very straightforward, I still liked it much more than the previous one. 4 out of 10
(3) 'Transformation'. The story follows a government experiment that aims to transform an unknown mutant into a more human form. The experiment was successful and we have a new... Too one-sided and simple sketch. 3 out of 10
(4) ' Appropriations' An old gardener becomes a victim of robbery by two underage boys, dies of a heart attack. However, his only friend, a garden bogey named Stanley, will not leave criminals unpunished. Despite the simple plot component, this story, against the background of the others, pleased with good graphics and effects. 5 out of 10
5) 'Two careful owners' This story continues the story #2, finishing the main plot with great details and motives. Based on this, it is unclear why the director (he is also a screenwriter) Mike Thack divided a very full-fledged short film into two parts. 5 out of 10
(6) 'Red wolf pine trees' Three assassins killed the brother of a local legend named Kane. Payment on his part will not keep you waiting. But old Kane won't come to the killers with a revolver. He will come exactly at the full moon. The story has a cool soundtrack and good scenery. 5 out of 10
(7) ' Mr. Sam Hain' A semi-documentary story about a man making costumes of heroes of cult characters from the horror universe: Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, etc. Quite an interesting story, but in fact has no special artistic value, and I do not understand why the director added it to the anthology. Although, seeing the short timeline of the film, the answer to my previous question is quite obvious. 4 out of 10
So, the director, screenwriter, editor, producer and cameraman in the person of Mike Thack is undoubtedly a great job. In his paintings, although devoid of plot delights and intelligible acting, there was a certain spiritual effort. However, the anthology is quite weak and completely disposable, I am sure that comrade Mike will do a good job of correcting the errors in his subsequent works. It certainly has the potential.
