The music connects. . . The film doesn’t even have a trailer for it... but then it would fit almost the entire plot of the film, since Turkish cinema as always is a little stretched to the sounds of Turkish music... which became the main source of communication in this movie, where the father can not find contact with his son, suffering from a psychological illness.
- At least look me in the face! Lift your head up once and look, son!
The plot is very predictable, but almost to the end it is not clear how the child (Alihan Turkdemir) remained with his father (Kivanch Tatlytug), and not with his mother, who did not even notify about his pregnancy and not disclosed the topic, why she is so sick ... not with her head problems. . ?
There are some echoes with the plot of the film 2+1, they are a little similar, but in this film everything is somehow crumpled, somewhere overplayed (but this is characteristic of the Turks) and a lot of tears in the hero, and the tears should be in the viewer watching this movie.
I will not go into the details of the professionalism of acting, but if the viewer wants to watch a worthwhile movie with the leading actor, I would recommend ' Butterfly Dream' in which the actor is completely immersed in the character not only morally and approached the physical form of the hero.
Summing up, it’s not a bad movie, but for fans of Turkish filmmaking, who I am, I finally got knocked to tears!
