Do not read anything about the movie before you watch it. It’s probably the weirdest and weirdest movie I’ve seen. It is impossible to designate his genre, describe the plot, assign a score. This is a psychological and social film due to the problems raised in it; it is a drama and comedy according to the types of actors’ games presented; a thriller, since it keeps in suspense and the viewer tries to find a solution to everything that is happening; but also fantasy and mysticism based on the given elements present in it, as important components of the plot. Confused, huh? But the creators coped with honor - there is no falsehood or tension in the film. Despite the presence of secrets and mysteries, the film looks easy (I watched it really in one sitting, even tea was not distracted to pour), without tension. All actors play naturally, with some of them playing like in a science fiction movie, some in drama, and some clearly in comedy or even farce. Despite having a few dirty words and drug use in the frame, the film does not cause rejection, even for girls like me - it is necessary in the plot and important for revealing the characters. They are all different and all have their own goals, dreams, aspirations. At first you do not even realize that they crossed in one place, and then you look forward to the answer: for what? Why were we shown these different characters, why were we introduced to them, what do they have in common, why did they all end up in this strange and inexplicable cafe? I read that apart from the two actresses and voice actor Nani (who produced the project and liked the script), none of the others involved in the film knew the whole plot. That is, each had only his role and the ending they understood only during the final dubbing.
Here we will return to the title of my review - before watching the film, I saw who plays what roles, and, unfortunately, guessed what the main feature of the denouement. This slightly reduced my interest from watching, as the end is really extremely unexpected and unconventional. I've only had 3 movies so far. So do not read anything in advance, trust and look without knowing anything, not expecting or anticipating. This is a really new, fresh and bright film. And it goes, by the way, not 2 hours 30 minutes (as indicated on the CP), but 1 hour 50 minutes. There will be no typical Indian elements: there are no fights or dances, the song is only in the initial and final credits and its content is very important for understanding the meaning of the ending (so look with the translation of this song, it will help in the end), there are no scenes on the street, so as such you will not see India: the action can take place, in principle, anywhere. The only award for this film for makeup, so be prepared to see long-known actors in unusual ways. I liked everyone, even though I watched because of Nitya Menon (how combative and free she is here), Kajal Aggarwal (pity her, a miserable man) and Murly Sharma (who is the one who genuinely delights me with his experiments). It seems to be on the second roles, but they increasingly outshine the performers of heroes. It's worth seeing, trust me. Open your mind to the new and unfamiliar!
