We all deserve our New Year’s Eve story. Sonya is a girl who has everything: a beloved and loving father, a huge rich house, gifts, holidays and even personal servants. Her existence is overshadowed only by the future stepmother, who is trying to turn the head of her father with all her might. But Katya is a poor girl from an orphanage who sincerely believes in the New Year’s miracle and decides to run away with her brother on the eve of the holidays in search of a better life. And on the eve of the New Year, two such different girls meet and decide to help each other, because Sonya wants to find her real mother, about the fate of which she knows little, and Katya and her brother want to try themselves in the role of children who have real parents. It would seem that this is a real crime and this can not last for a long time, but in fact you can never be sure how events will develop further, especially on the New Year, when real miracles occur. Maybe Katya and Sonya will face a real miracle? . .
The plot is incredibly fascinating. This is just a real children's fairy tale in the modern New Year's fashion. There is everything here: sincere joy, mutual help, friendship, love, envy, and betrayal. But, as you know, good always conquers evil, so after all, there are many more positive aspects here. Some episodes were so touching that they could barely hold back tears. But the most important thing is that it affirms a real faith in a miracle, a real childish unshakable faith. And let in some places the plot becomes too naive and ill-conceived, but this is a fairy tale to be magical and with slightly exaggerated facts. But the coolest thing is that there is intrigue, unexpected events, in general, a real "Secret".
Special attention should be paid to the actors, because they tried to make the fairy tale into reality as possible, albeit only on the screen. For example, Pyotr Fedorov surprised me in general, since I am used to being an actor of heavy dramatic roles, often war films, and here a children's New Year's story. But he tried his best, even sometimes it was forgotten 6 that it was Fedorov, and he was perceived as the image of Sonja’s father. But Aksyonov was also unusual to see in a not entirely positive role. It is also more common when she plays purely protagonists, and here she caused conflicting feelings. Many thanks to the little actors who did their best. After all, it is most difficult for children to play certain feelings and emotions on request. But here they were real little princesses, as if from a real fairy tale.
An even greater respect for artists and designers for the beautiful New Year atmosphere, because all these lights, snow, garlands, tinsel really add moods and sensations of a fairy tale. And the music here is also magical!
I am sincerely grateful to the creators for Mystery, which will now definitely become one of the favorite New Year’s films in our family. This is one of such films that gives positive emotions to both children and adults, equally fascinating and striking. And yet, at any age, the New Year is a time of miracles!
