Effects of goodness The touching, but sometimes depressing story of an adult Jigsaw, whose childhood was overshadowed by unpleasant consequences, as a result of which the main character was left alone with his mother. Director Rafael Montserraté in the drama shows how complete isolation from society can affect a guy that life among hypercare does not bode well, but at the same time brings up the correct and gentle qualities of a person.
Before us is a strange, closed Peel, left alone with his isolation. Emil Hirsch well conveyed bewilderment, misunderstanding and shyness, which does not converge with an adult guy. The emphasis is on the fact that we have a boy who suddenly becomes an adult, both physically and morally, but the lack of development and knowledge over 20 years played a role in the disclosure of the world.
Unwittingly becomes pity Peel, he resembles the lost family hero Adam Sandler in the “Desolate city” Mike Binder. You feel sorry for him, but you can see the character struggling with himself inside. On the one hand, a hermit who spent his whole life in the same house; on the other hand, space and freedom. The taste of life becomes something new, unknown, so the appearance of new housemates, allow 30-year-old Jigsaw to go through the path of puberty at an accelerated pace.
Completely different people around: it's cute girls, the party-hungry neighbor Roy with his colleague Chuck, the sloppy guy, "the typical American handsome comedy of the early 2000s." Chad. We are confronted with knowledge, bitterness, resentment and jealousy—feelings that Peel was deprived of. Demonstration of adaptation deliberately involves some physical drama, some trick, deception, but the plot slowly reduces the past with the desire of Jigsaw to get answers to his questions.
It is his confusion and “sinking in one place” that stops the film (some kind of tautology, a tramp), you expect something sharp, doubts surround the character. But suddenly, in the third act, Peel makes an interesting discovery that not only puts him on a par with the “ghosts” of the past, but even elevates him above the elders. The emphasis on the family is placed under the wishes of children, the resentments of the past, which looms in an excellent drama.
In general, the picture gives a clear idea of family need and the integrity of the social unit, gives an example of naivety for good. When a person is sincere, his soul is not poisoned by the harshness of life, he can passively give good to people and help them, although they cannot admit it in themselves. Very emotional was the meeting with the older brother and the lead to the climax, in the last minutes of timing to show who really was. Beautiful. Sad and joyful at the same time. Had it not been for the second act, the film would have gone stronger. And so we have a knowledge of ourselves and our place in the world, seasoned with comedy and frank drama.
