Two against the robot In the past few years, I have repeatedly come across this kind of indistinct short stories of a futuristic orientation. They are united by thumb-sucking plots that make no sense out of context. There is no context, because these are independent works, not parts of series. Alternatively, I can assume that in all cases the authors filmed, waiting for the reaction of the public, but without waiting for the expected, abandoned this case. Otherwise, how to explain the emission of clearly a lot of money on the air, I do not know. Unless the money had to be laundered.
In this creation, the characters for five minutes of screen time with guns at the same time chase across rough terrain for a robot that stole batteries from their garage. In these five minutes we have to guess for ourselves what happened before the events described. There was something interesting there. People spent a lot of money on building humanoid robots, which were then reduced to the position of outcasts, if not criminals, settling them behind some huge wall. What's so bad about these robots, other than stealing batteries, is also unclear. However, everything suggests that they are not very dangerous. A father in the form of a sheriff with a completely light (apparently) heart makes his young, possibly minor, daughter chase the robot. The fact that he is not particularly afraid for her says the fact that the only bulletproof vest in the house he puts on himself, not on her.
I actually spent more time writing the review than watching the movie. I'm going to go see something else, maybe even about robots.
