Extremely sad OVA. Released a little later, Dream Hunter Rem, which was originally Hentai (a parody of Fandora?), has less weirdness, fan service and a much more organic plot.
In the story of Rehm, comparisons with which are inevitable given the year of release, Dream in the title, the age, profession and even the hair color of the main characters, the entire film crew enjoyed the process and freely experimented with genres (there is even a big hodgepodge) and self-irony (which ultimately saved the series).
Fandorino grief is served with an absolutely serious attitude, which causes only yawning. For 3 episodes, a car of stamps, plot inconsistencies and, probably, the most inappropriate fan service in the history of anime is dumped on the viewer. Secondaryness and attempts to gather all possible elements from popular titles, in the hope that they will work, through every scene. Dream in the title of the title does not find any justification in the plot.
The second point was obvious to the writers themselves. The motivation of the main villain and many events taking place on the screen do not even try to somehow reveal or explain.
Extremely secondary, only the music and, in some places, the picture are good. But that’s a lot of it in other people from that time.
