Movie pies. P.2 In 2015, the film Alien Nightmare was released. It was not long, but for such a short time, he was able to offer the viewer an interesting plot, good for such films special effects and music stylized for films of the 50s. The open ending let us know what the sequel was. And we had to wait 3 years for him. Usually sequels get worse than the original, even with independent directors, but there was an exception. Alien Nightmare X — of these.
Two main characters, Alex and Victor, arrive on an unidentified planet. Their enemy, played by Viktor Murzikov from the first part, offers a deal. If they help him, he will unlock the entrance to the alien dish and bring them home. But on the planet they were waiting for local creatures, and they immediately fly away. When they fly home, they learn that much has happened in the backyard of 2025 and throughout their absence. Naturally, they can’t just leave all this, and teaming up with the local Rambo, they decide to fight back.
On the technical side, the film has become much larger. Literally, every minute something happens and the film even despite the small timekeeping does not have time to get bored. Special effects have moved forward, not Avatar of course, but for the Russian B-movie look decent. I was not disappointed with the music either. Since, at the same time, the director, producer, composer, screenwriter, editor, and the lead actor plays in the group, and the experience is not in vain useful to him. The actors also did not pump up and played properly, of course I could highlight the shitty game of the local Rambo, but after all, for the image it is necessary, and you enjoy his bad performance.
"Alien Nightmare X" met my and many other expectations. I may say a little, but the film definitely deserves your attention. Dmitry Khmelev — Russian John Carpenter.
