Good show! So far, I have only watched Season 1. And I liked the series.
Everyone seems to be tired of stamps and looking for novelty, but if that same novelty is more than a comfortable percentage, people immediately spit. No way!
In my opinion, for those who love Scandinavian detectives, where the investigation goes forward in small steps, “What is hidden under the snow” is the right thing.
I can see why I might not like this job. It's a long start. The main character, for the most part, is rather indistinct, and his team is a complete misunderstanding.
But! With patience, everything falls into place.
The series shows the following problems:
1) Mental health. It's a fragile thing, and what doesn't kill us doesn't make us stronger. Sometimes it hurts us all our lives. And when you are tormented within yourself, it becomes difficult or almost impossible to fight with the “outsiders”, that is, with other people.
(2) Officials' 'Starsickness' - how it develops. At what point does the "servant of the people" suddenly decide that he is God's anointed and everyone should love him no matter what he does. How he begins to justify any of his actions, adjusting evidence, laws, facts to what is convenient for him.
(3) The problem of people who do not care and have no time. No time to listen. No time to think. There's no time to understand. "What to think, shake!" as in that joke. It is always easier to fit the pieces of the puzzle under the desired shape: somewhere to reflect, somewhere to repaint. But only in the end, the picture does not add up. Everything seems to be in place, but not on its own or that.
While watching, I had several comparisons with other series, only I will keep them to myself. Otherwise, slippers will fly at me, saying that this detective is not like his cool brethren. He's not as hyped and appreciated. I agree! It's for amateurs. Like me.
