Politics is what is now out of every door, phone or mouth. Everyone discusses, condemns, and often assumes they know better. In the world, as usual, not everything is in order. All topics overlap, and politics is what stands at the head. Although, if you dig deeper, it's not. But all the world leaders or all these political issues are the most popular, the most discussed and the most controversial. We do not know how to treat all this, how to accept those people who assume the responsibility of leading the country. For the most part, they are hated, but sometimes they are idolized. But almost never put themselves in their place.
The play “Choice” tells just about the flip side of the election. About leading a person who wants to lead a party, leading people, maybe changing lives. How you come to look at yourself and fight. For yourself, for peace, or for money and power. Every leader has his own ideas.
To be honest, I don’t like this topic. Perhaps because everything is imperfect and terribly ambiguous. So many people, so many opinions. It is impossible to say that any action is absolutely right. That's the play. You kind of stand on a cliff and choose where to lean to make it easier and more conscious. It would be better for you to live. Conscientious.
Every day, we are faced with a huge flurry of information, which, for the most part, is chosen for us by the people who organize our lives. They think it will be better and better. That’s what we choose them for. But it turns out that it's hard to organize the lives of so many different people, allowing them to remain free. “We didn’t have to think, we were forced to cram,” says the girl from the stage. How beautiful this phrase is with its truth. From some elementary examples in school, where they are obliged to use only the decision of the teacher and the book, to the sides taken in the future, when you decide how to think, not digging, but by rote. It's scary. It is terrible to go not consciously, but by someone chosen and laid.
I like it when there are no clear answers. Just throwing questions, topics, like the result, show, but allow yourself to dig. It gives me pleasure to collect all the experience that you see on the screen and then inside yourself to chew it all well.
Feminism, inequality, justice, again politics, love, relationships, doing your job, perfectionism, and many other themes that are given to us for reflection in the play. And they are eternal, just the scenery outside the window changes. You definitely agree with something, and it is worth thinking about something more than once to pick up at least something similar to the truth for you.
Don't be afraid, that's the point. If you think you are doing good, then go ahead.
Yesterday, 6 people came to this performance, which was shown in our city in the cinema. And I'm so scared of it. This is the choice that happens.
I like performances, movies, books, everything you can recycle and take. When it's not easy to watch. When to think. When I like it, but it's complicated. It is so important to talk about important things without closing your eyes.
We will always find time to have fun. Think about it? How do you like that?
