There are a lot of horror films made just for fun. Call 5 is probably one of them. It is not clear what this film is for. Although it has some good atmosphere of horror, but it consists only of slow long frames and darkness, which, in fact, very often causes the feeling that something will jump on you now, and in the end these screamers and did not turn out terrible.
The plot turned out to be incredibly strange. It is, if I am not mistaken, 4 stories that have nothing to do with each other. What's going on in these stories is not clear, and some of the characters' stupid actions make it even dumber, and you think, 'Why? What's going on? Take at least the first story. A blind girl is preparing dinner for two, seems to be her friend, and while she is preparing for the evening, she hears some strange noises, she begins to have ghosts outside her windows, objects in the house change their location, and some woman constantly knocks on the door asking for help for her lost child. The lights go out, everything flashes, someone turns on the flashlight and that's it, the story is over. What happened? What happens? Not known.
In the second story, the actions of the spirit are understood. I’m not going to retell the whole movie, but if you’re watching it, think about it – what is she doing? We are shown a nice family life of the fifties, but suddenly a demon comes, begins to do something with unknown intentions and that’s it. Next story, please.
The desire of directors and screenwriters to cram into the film the maximum amount of this magical sorcery with witches, sorcerers and demons is beyond reason. If each creature were given more time, added backstory, motivation, and removed the fourth story, which, in my opinion, is out of place at all, and is needed to prolong timekeeping, then something interesting might turn out. But, unfortunately, there was not enough budget, scripting skills and the desire of the directors to make a good film, and not stuff everything into a pile.
