Pat Tate's Spanish showdown This time we are told about Marbella, in which Pat Tate was present in the third part. This cruel and narcissistic criminal returns here after a five-year stint in the previous chapter to take revenge on the man for whom he was imprisoned, but circumstances change and he stays in Spain to pull off one lucrative case. His crazy friends from Essex rush to his aid.
Well, the Rise of the Infantry movie series is one of the few in which I liked absolutely all the parts. This so-called movie is not for everyone, tied to British crime and telling stories from the real life of famous English criminals - if in the first parts was the main character Carlton, and Pat was a secondary character, then the last two chapters moved to Tate, and perhaps his life is more fun, if you can call that blood and toughness of his figure.
Compared to the previous tapes, even humor appeared in this one, a couple of times even fit. There used to be funny jokes, but here it went. At some point, it even became a crime comedy. But it looked pretty organic. Pat Tate, with his characteristic manner, framed, beat, took away other people's women. That's all he is, a real bastard of English crime. The outcome of his life was decided long before he came. This is a selfish creature, completely plunged into the world of lawlessness and drugs, to return to normal life after all that he has done and what he saw is almost unrealistic.
The film is really fascinating and interesting. Compared to the first two parts, which were criminal dramas in their pure form, the last two films are more like an action movie. There was a lot of drama in the third part, but there was almost no drama left in Marbella. But, you know, it was convincing without it. A lot of cruelty and other criminal fuss, looking at which I understand, what motivates people to choose this way of earning? Wanting to be above others? Or unwillingness to work humanely? You can be unclean, but with such a desire to hurt others, leaving them with nothing, and practically adoring such a life filled with constant danger, drugs and whores, it is difficult to call such a frame a person. A beast in human skin, a real scum.
The film flies unnoticed and takes us through criminal life. Despite the past films, the picture may not like, those who previously did not know about Pat Tate, can completely disappoint this quadriquel. But I saw it from the beginning and I’m still happy with the series. It is difficult to get tired of watching this film, not only that the film goes only 85 minutes, but also the picture is filled with constant action, something is constantly happening on the screen, you just need to look at the path of Tate's friends from Essex to Malaga. What more can you say!
It's fun to watch a movie. Yes, it is complex, cruel, bloody, to some extent repulsive, but at the same time we should not forget that this is a movie, albeit based on real events, which gives us a spectacle, very, very even suitable for viewing. The atmosphere of Tate's madness and greed is really cool, and we're really getting into all this shit that this hardened criminal is doing. Also note Craig Fairbrass, who is so used to the role of Pat Tate that it is difficult to imagine him in another role. Very well and brightly performed a rather difficult role. Charisma actor do not occupy, which he fully conveys to his character.
Watch mainly only those who have seen the previous parts and who were satisfied. The rest can pass by, no special emotions will not experience. I liked the film, like the whole series, and I was happy to see it. I won't give up another part. The British style of cinema is quite specific, but if you feel it, you can get a real aesthetic pleasure.
