Accidentally came across this series in the recommendations and really wanted to plunge into this story.
An action-packed film that reveals the eternal theme of indifference and violence against the most defenseless creatures on earth – children. Despite such a heavy and oppressive plot, Red Moon, Blue Sun looks with great interest, keeps in suspense, and you can’t think about anything else but this movie. Every time you scroll through drama scenes in your head, you try to understand how such unthinkable cruelty is possible in our time, who is behind all this and who will stand up for the oppressed? The law or the secret criminal with the Robin Hood complex?
Red Moon, Blue Sun is probably one of the best shows I’ve seen. I couldn’t function until I finished watching the last episode. The impeccable play of actors, including children, the atmosphere, the musical background - everything attracts attention. This drama is made in the best traditions of detective, thriller and drama with a slight touch of mysticism. Every lover of the above genres will find something for themselves in Red Moon, Blue Sun. For example, I really liked that we gradually revealed certain twists of the plot. Together with the main characters, we conducted an investigation, wondered who the killer was and each time the elusive truth eluded us, leaving behind a trail of annoyances and feelings that we were so close to the truth.
In conclusion, I would like to praise the actors. I had previously seen Lee Yi Kyung only in episodic roles and really wanted to appreciate his work, where the main interesting role was given to him. And he didn't disappoint me! The character of Lee Yi Kyung, Detective Kang Ji Hoon, a man who thinks, reason, tries to pay attention to seemingly insignificant details and painstakingly collects all the pieces of the mosaic into a single whole. I see actress Kim Sung-A for the first time, but she almost immediately gives the impression of a highly professional artist with a delicate mental organization. Anne, the leader of the band VIXX, played the amazing emotional role of a vulnerable and sad young man in this series.
And you know, Red Moon, Blue Sun is clearly not a one-time show.
Personally, I want to watch it again and again experience the range of emotions that this wonderful drama gave me.
