The only thing I still don’t understand is why all this atrocity was filmed on camera. . I can assume that after all, they sold these vidos in the Internet for mad money to all sorts of perverts, then at least some sense in this was. Well, or it is a club of maniacs on the road, when in a separate place gathered a few frostbitten comrades, and they together (!!!) felt the desire to brutally soak the girl, and at the same time to shoot it all on video. Collective maniacism, I don’t know if it happens or not. Well, collective hysteria happens, maybe there is such a phenomenon.
One way or another, they shot what they shot, and Taapsi delights me with each of her films more and more. As much as she was nothing at the beginning of her career, she did not stand out from the number of puppet girls, so interesting she became now, especially when she came to Bollywood. And with partners, she is lucky, and she is already able to pull & #39; any film. She has reached such a level that she does not even need a partner. Or like Amitabh Bachchan in the film 'Revenge'. That's her level now. She makes me happy. In this film (it is a joint, Indian-Turkish) there is of course more fear and mysticism than the actual crimes themselves, and the story of serial murders simply gives the picture an edge & #39. Taapsi plays Sapna, a girl who was assaulted and abused a year before the events. The rapist climbed into the house, but somehow raped, did not kill. And now she still experiences this pain, trying to commit suicide periodically, she has a lot of complexes and fears, in general a lot of psychological problems that she solves alone. Only her maid, Calama, is next to her. She has a complicated relationship with her relatives, as if they were happy to help, but Sapna fenced off from everyone. This is facilitated by her profession - she is a game developer, you can work at home and not communicate with the people if you do not want to. She doesn't want to. Goes to a psychologist, but it helps somehow weakly. She's a messy girl. And unhappy.
The original feature of the film, I thought, in the tattoo on Sapna's arm. Allegedly, when she was made, she was there ' punched ' paint with the ashes of a girl who was killed by maniacs. Well, yes, we think it's wild, but the Hindus think of it. So that the tattoo always reminds of the deceased. I don’t know if such tattoos actually exist, here recently the program was watched with Dima Komarov (well, the traveler is so cool), he was in some southeastern country, and there precious stones are stamped from the ashes of the deceased and relatives can order a pendant there or a ring. I was out of sight, but here's a similar case. And with this tattoo, the devil in Sapna's life began, with which she doesn't even know what to do. It is worth noting that the film from the very beginning is not very clear, but soon everything falls into place and it is quite clear that they want to convey to the viewer. And yes, it won’t last long, modern Indian films are already about two hours long, if not less. That is, in fact, this movie can already watch and fans of Hollywood, and they will not be bored. Actors (in particular, Taapsi herself) play very decently, they believe unconditionally. Taapsi is perfectly held in front of the camera and reliably demonstrates despair. There's no dancing song. So I don't even want to call her Snap (as a joke, of course). She outgrown Slipka. Now it is safe to put in a row with American actors.
The only downside to the film is that it takes place in one house (almost). And everything repeats in circles, it's a little tiring. The police, as always, can not be counted on, they every time (!) came without reinforcements, although Sapna on the phone reported that there were several maniacs. It's innately stupid. Well, as far as I remember, there are two extremes of Hindus in police films - either they are patriotic and heroic to the teeth, or there is a clinic in their heads, and how they are hired is unclear. There is no middle ground.
My personal opinion is a very worthy thriller with elements of mysticism, Taapsi is good, and some shortcomings in the script can be ignored.
