Song pro & nbsp;Zubra Our ancestors personified the bison - a powerful and majestic animal - with the forces of nature and worshipped it as a symbol of their native land. However, with the passage of time, everything has changed, and of the three existing species, only one has survived. Why the bison disappeared on the continent, how scientists restored the population, how the bison is connected with other inhabitants of the forest: deer, boars, deer, wolves, etc., the history of the species, the bison of the Bialowieza Forest and the Polesie Radiation and Ecological Reserve, the creation and development of the northernmost in Belarus tenth micropopulation in Krasny Bor. All this and much more can be seen in the new feature film by Igor Byshnev and Nikolai Sparrow.
The bison is the largest of the animals living in Europe. The visiting card of Belarus, by the way, is the same age as the mammoths themselves, only they failed to adapt to rapidly changing climatic conditions and became extinct, and we can see bison today. In general, this mammal is a rather interesting animal, whose habits and behavior can be observed all day long. But in this case, all 55 minutes of a full-length film.
Widely known not only here, but also abroad director, screenwriter, cameraman, author of more than 60 films about the enchanting beauty of nature Igor Byshnev once again pleases his viewer. It captures not only the amazing splendor of nature, but also how skillfully the angle is presented, the shooting plans are selected, the director’s decision. Looking at this movie, you are surprised that we have such beauty. What is only the evening foggy sunset, shooting from drones, and the episode with a dead crab, how the whole herd for two days did not move away from its cub, tried to raise it and move on - just can not help but touch. As well as the painstaking, systematic, truly heroic effort of Belarusian specialists to revive the bison population. I can’t believe that in 1946 there were only five of them for the whole of Belarus, and today there are already a thousand and a half. And yes, I did see a few bison on the outskirts of his native Grodno – in the wild these “giants of Europe” without much fear even reach the outskirts of the regional center. The main thing is that they do not repeat the fate of our wild boars.
I was pleased with the appeal of the creators of “Zubrov in Belarus” to the poem “Song about bison” by our classic Nikolai Gusovsky. After all, she tells the whole world about the beauty and greatness of Belarusian nature, the way of life and customs of its inhabitants. N. Gusovsky set himself the task of adequately revealing to the whole of Europe not only the rare beast that lives only in the Belarusian wilderness, but also the whole country and people. Therefore, the “Song about the bison” is also a “Song about us” – Belarusians, which we should all be rightfully proud of. The film was also seen by many people abroad, such as Norway and Finland, and everyone was left with some shocking admiration. Thank you so much for this wonderful film.
