About the mafia and their children A retired mobster is confronted by young robbers who robbed his home. Not believing in the police, he decides to find the guilty. At the same time, the story is told by his daughter, who works as an assistant to a congressman.
Two Oscar winners (40 and 25 years ago) are the only thing in this movie. Dreyfuss, who has not starred in any notable film for more than 10 years, and Mira Sorvino somewhere else. And this film is clearly not a new start of a dead career.
The plot, despite its rather unexpected turns, is not clearly spelled out and more resembles one of the ordinary detectives who are now filmed in huge numbers. The theme of a congressman, his child, one and the second daughter of a mafia, and even the same robbers, rather resemble a heap of storylines that can be brought to the end only by cutting.
As a result, a rather banal detective, in which there are several unexpected plot twists, and everything else is banal and predictable.
