The original series "Barboskins" is underestimated by many. While the visual parts of the early series left much to be desired, the morality of friendship and family values always deserved some approval. And since the format of the series is not too convenient due to its protracted nature, such a phenomenon as feature films saves the situation very well. Over the "Barboskiny in the country" worked a directorial group of three people. Russian animation, which has not yet reached such a scale as in the United States, requires unity and universal dedication. And in my opinion Alexander Malgin, Lyudmila Yakush and Anna Mironova did everything right.
I can say with confidence that Barboskins are no longer the same. In a good way. A stunning attraction that meets the viewer already in the first seconds, this confirmation. Literally all of my reproaches towards the source (be it a lazy camera or unfocused lighting) here are not just corrected, but brought to perfection. Finally, we have a bright and detailed picture with a beautiful camera work. At the same time, the characters have also changed: they are now more dynamic and lively. From the original series in the full-length film migrated all familiar characters except parents. Only a sailor grandfather looks after the children in the country. And from the outside watching cats, and ... I have a question: where did Rosa's phrase from the trailer that cats on the Internet collect more likes than dogs? That's the obvious truth! Are any of the writers or editors an avid dog?
Okay, that was a joke. Through the cartoon passes kind and close to everyone morality about friendship, especially within the family. As we remember, Rose and Lisa and Gena often quarrel over different interests that do not find common ground. And then there is the annoying Kid with his constant desire to play something. Little things, but within the family generate conflicts, from which the youngest are most affected. The creators of the cartoon caught and felt (probably on their own experience) these subtle moods in a large family and showed – adjusted for cartoonism – a very reliable situation in which the Kid is forced to look for friends on the side and accidentally stumbles upon a bully whose primitive mind is not able to think further than “who is the master on this glade?” This, as you guess, and there are cats, one of which is cute fat, and the other deserves a separate paragraph.
Have you ever noticed that many 3D cartoon characters have the same eyes? White balls with colored circles and everything. Meanwhile, animals have a great variety in size and color of eyes, and cats have one of the most recognizable eyes. Including Smoke from this movie. Amazingly, to convey the cunning and vicious character of the character, it was only necessary to endow him with real cat eyes with vertical pupils and yellow iris. It was very spectacular! Before us is a natural anthropomorphic predator that knows how to hunt, which is used for its own benefit. Smoke as a character turned out to be so successful that it obscures almost everyone else. The obvious conclusion is that in order for a work to become interesting, it requires negative characters.
In “Barboskins in the country” before us unfolds such events that on – let’s say – everyday level are perceived as a full-fledged blockbuster. And that’s another element that the original series lacked so much – something stunning that lifts everyone to their feet. Jumping on the roofs, running around the yard, playing Indians - all this is shown in such a way that the viewer feels like after watching a real Western with a lot of shootouts. A great adventure came to visit and only more emphasized that family is not an empty word. We need to stick together, and then everyone will be happy, and let the bullies stay away until they realize they are wrong. There is only one blunder that the creators have made in the series and made here: trying to seem very modern. Insignificant and frankly harmful Russian rap, meaningless hopes to become the wife of a prince, stupid hairstyles hanging before your eyes - all this looks primitive, but, fortunately, does not spoil impressions.
As a result. "Barboskins in the country" in all respects surpassed not only the previous series, but also its closest competitors in the face of "Fixics against work". Yes, paradoxically, but the little men a year earlier greatly sapped in comparison with the family of dogs. Perhaps this is only due to the fact that the first full-length was approached with great care, but I would like to believe that the Barboskins in the future are many more pleasant surprises. As I finish my review, I wish them luck. A nail in my shoes, if the wish does not come true!

This is a great project for children and their parents for the new year. It is immediately clear that the cartoon is intended for children 6+, but this only indicates its political correctness. There are serious passions in the Barboskins' cottage. Kids are grown-up. Children learn the world through games. So Barboskins want popularity, scientific discoveries, likes in social networks. The kid (voiced by Ksenia Brzezovskaya) believes that his brothers and sisters love him and therefore play with him. What will happen, we will find out by watching the cartoon to the end. Fantastic inventions and high-society intrigues are all born in the minds of children. Children copy adults, and through games they learn the world. I really liked the music in the cartoon. It's very modern. Composers - Zheryakov and Boyarsky - well done (they did a good job).
The baby will open the world. This is a very interesting book for 6+ children. Summer and summer are a place of power for children with imagination. Fantasies will unfold in Druzhka (Yulia Zorkin), and Gena (Mikhail Chernyak), and Rosa (Maria Tsvetkova-Ovsyannikova), and Lisa (Ekaterina Gorokhovskaya). The Barboskin brothers and sisters understand: "The main family." Children's games cause serious passions. Baby Indian finds a lot of hobbies in the country. In the Barboskin family there is peace and love. This is a very children's cartoon that reveals the world of kids as serious and big.
Barboskins represent the world of large families, where there are many children, and where there is love. It was a pleasure to watch this movie on the big screen. All children are loved and they all want to play their games.

At one time, a very good project “Cartoon in the cinema” was launched, which was aimed at attracting the youngest viewers to the cinemas. For them, sessions of 45 minutes were introduced (which has already taught in the future to the duration of the school lesson) on which a team of almanacs from such hit and beloved characters as Masha and the Bear, Luntik, Fixiki, Barboskins, etc. were shown. The colorful team shared screen time and did not allow the attention of children to dissipate, dynamically changing each other, captivating bright animation and history. But over time, the creators decided to go on a small experiment and decided to release entire full-length stories about individual characters in the cinema. Particular confidence was instilled by the successful debut of Smeshariki and Squirrels and Arrows in the cinema. And more than one generation of young viewers has grown up, demanding a larger portion.
The Barboskins was one such experiment. Animated series of 15 seasons about a family of dogs, so similar in behavior to humans, almost painlessly survived the animated upgrade and migrated to the big screens, having received to the delight of all fans a solid timekeeping.
The film is about a fun dog family that lives in the modern world. The father of the family does not part with the laptop, earning his mind, mother - from time to time realizes his dreams about the stage, and children - they are the same as young spectators, each has its own unique character. Little crooked Lisa wants to become like Jeanne Kiska, Buddy sees herself as a future football star, Rose is a blonde beauty and fashionista, Baby is the main favorite of the family, and Botanic is not enough for complete happiness just the Nobel Prize in physics. On the example of the main characters, children saw all the difficulties of communicating with peers and adults, learned to solve conflict issues with humor and a smile.
For 15 short-series seasons, which only the Barboskin family has not faced, cheerfully and not forced to hand out the right advice to the viewer on the other side of the screen, but now everything has become much more serious - on the horizon there is a collision with the eternal cinematic opponent - cats. Or to be more precise, two cats. And one of them, it turns out to be very wayward. And it seems that there is no compromise, but there is another option.
Feel the potential? And "Barboskines in the country" use it to the fullest, not giving a chance to get bored not only to small spectators, but also to an older viewer.
The creators went, of course, on a tricky move and made the main character of the favorite of the younger audience - the Kid. Although it is through his actions, analysis, perception and jokes that children who will watch movies will be able to fully absorb and understand the message they need.
Even on the trailer, you could see that the animation graphics made even better and more interesting. Facial expressions, mood changes, hair villi, expressive eyes - everything works 100% and if you look at it, then only on the big screen.
Special mention deserves work with sound - competent voiceover and excellent musical accompaniment will bring pleasure to everyone, leaving no one indifferent.
I believe that it is on this cartoon that children will be interesting, useful and accessible to explain about such an important aspect of education as the ability to find compromises in a seemingly stalemate situation. And parents can be sure that they will watch a bright, pleasant and positive story with their child.
Let the action take place on the screen in the summer (yes, the picture was not supposed to come out in winter, but a pandemic, you know), but there is enough great charge for the festive mood here.
Another transfer of serial characters to the cinema can be considered successful. Therefore, it is safe to say that in another year, we will again be able to see the Barboskin family on the big screen. And if it's as great as it is now, then I'm personally just for it!

“Barboskines in the country” refers to such rare cartoons that will be interesting to both children and the older generation. He succeeded in everything from design to implementation. Many young viewers sincerely loved the series "Barboskines", where a large dog family lives a modern life and learns to love, make friends and have fun. And here on the screens a long, bright, eventful cartoon about your favorite family. How can this be avoided?
What are the main problems of modern cartoons? Some are designed for a more adult audience, the jokes in them are adults enough, designed rather for parents, so that when watching they were not bored. Or too primitive picture and unfunny plot, children are not very fascinated, and the older generation is frankly dreary.
"Barboskins in the country" was in the middle. Children are delighted with their favorite talking animals, in the cartoon there is something to laugh at and learn, a lot of good humor and comic moments, and visually the cartoon is above all praise. Bright, fervent, sparkling and fun!
The plot isn't overloaded. It's simple, Barboskins rest in the country. Everyone does what they love. Someone by invention, someone fell in love, and someone had rivals with whom it is necessary to deal.
The cartoon is dynamic. There was always something going on, not a minute was boring. I was interested in watching and did not notice how time flew by. The child is more than delighted. He’s a fan of the series, and he liked it even more. A lot of emotions and a smile did not come off my face for a long time.
I want to say that “Barboskines in the country” will especially appeal to fans of the series, but if your child did not watch it, then he will still be interested. By itself, separately, the cartoon looks no worse. Check it out, you won’t regret it.
Now it is difficult to find modern guys who would not have heard anything about the mischievous Barboskins and their restless adventures. In my opinion, this animated series is even more interesting than “Fixics” and “Masha and the Bear”, because it combines fiction, instructive moments and resourceful humor that can sit behind the screens not only children, but also parents and even grandparents. And the most pleasant thing is that the adventures of the Barboskins have become popular not only in Russia, but in the CIS and even far abroad thanks to the Internet. Now the Barboskins have successfully migrated to the movies, and as for me, everything is just fine.
Speaking of the plot, it swirls around the rest of the Barboskins in the country. In fact, the title of the movie tells us that. Our good friends, Kid, Rose, Lisa, Gena, Friends and Grandpa have a great time in nature, getting the most out of their vacation. They could play basketball all day, or walk by the river, looking at the island, which you just need to explore, and everything said that these bright, warm summer days will be truly unforgettable. But suddenly near the house Barboskins were unexpected neighbors – cats! And the worst thing is that everyone pays attention to them.
One, skinny and cunning Smoke, knows his worth and is going to put the dogs in their place. Don't put a finger in his mouth, or he'll take it, and even scratch it properly. The second is a good-natured and well-fed Pushok, who, on the contrary, wants to be friends with everyone, and he is ready to offer his help to anyone, because this is his furry nature. Of course, Barboskins and cats are completely different from each other, their characters and preferences are different, but they will be destined to go on a great adventure.
For me personally, the cartoon “Barboskines in the country” is a great opportunity to plunge again into the warm summer days, which we all lack now. Together with beloved and new heroes, we find ourselves outside the city, where the greenery is rampant and you can swim. This is a real paradise, and there is no need for any abroad - here is happiness! It is right next to you, you just have to get on the train and go to the village, where it is so cool and not at all sad, not that in the city.
The story itself may not be the most intricate, but it was important to me what emotions children feel from watching. And they certainly had fun watching how the Barboskins intersect with Smoke and Cannon, what adventures await them and whether they will all be friends. Of course, there is no special intrigue for an adult viewer, but the younger ones liked it, and this is the most important thing.
As a result, I want to say that Barboskins in the country is a fun, fun and simply such a warm summer adventure, which should not be missed, because positive emotions are guaranteed to you, and children, and even grandparents. So watching the whole family, as for me, is a must!
