Gunpowder, telephone and hydroelectric power plant in the Stone Age
For a long time, this anime has been in mind, firstly, high marks and a place in the Top 250, and secondly, the subject of science, which is quite close to me (in school, at one time, I just loved natural sciences, for example, chemistry and physics in particular). And I can tell from the viewing that I really liked it.
The plot is not trivial. Taiju, a high school senior, tells his science-loving friend Senku that he finally mustered up the courage to confess his feelings to the girl. But just before recognition, the whole world is filled with a bright green light that has turned all of humanity into stone statues. After 3,700 years, Senku sheds this stone scale and begins to revive civilization almost from scratch (and we know the exact date of awakening due to the fact that all this time Senku counted every second!). Six months after his first awakening, he is joined by Taiju and that girl, Yuzuriha. Along the way, our trinity revives Tsukasu Shisheo, who does not agree to the full rebirth of mankind. The confrontation of brute force with the power of science begins.
Senku is the brightest character of this anime, who from the outside looks like a cynic scientist, unconditionally devoted to science, but in fact he is a person who will not leave anyone in trouble, who has composure and straightforwardness, sometimes rude, but does not abandon anyone in trouble, does not give up even before the most difficult goal. Yuzuriha and Taiju also have strong personalities, unbending will and faith in Senku and his ability to achieve a global goal. Tsukasa is a tough and domineering type who does not choose the way and means for the revival of civilization correct from his point of view.
Other main characters, appearing a little later in the course of the script – Chromium, Kohaku, Gen and others also have their own types and meaningful content, as living characters with their weaknesses and strengths.
Yes, what to say, secondary characters are also quite colorful and memorable, despite the fact that with a sufficiently large locomotive of the main characters, they are not lost, but only emphasize and highlight them.
In general, the struggle between the Senku and Tsukasa camps looks quite entertaining in terms of motivation and goals. You really believe this confrontation and if you were an ordinary thinking person in this new stone world, you would have a serious choice to join. Soon, this struggle escalates into a local war between the two leaders, the result of which, at least immediately, is impossible to predict. The ending is very good in its emotionality - both enemies part with friends, each admitting their mistakes and mistakes.
Another advantage is the format of this title. Senku, reviving the old world, creates seemingly ordinary things, along the way explaining what will be required for their implementation. And all this is not dry and uninteresting, as in some textbook without pictures, but very bright, exciting and exciting, sometimes through flashbacks or animated circuit. We are shown and described each ingredient and its preparation or processing, the process of creating, for example, a vacuum lamp, hydroelectric power plant, gunpowder and you sit and realize how simple and difficult it is at the same time. After watching each episode, you want to become a little more erudite, and you remember with regret that sometimes at school or university you neglected a particular topic. And finally, in the process of viewing, I was filled with a sense of pride in the whole of humanity as a whole, what unattainable heights it has reached in science and technology due to its inquisitiveness, curiosity, failures and as an almost omnipotent man (it is not for nothing that humanity stands at the top of evolution).
It is worth giving credit to the world as such. The authors are aware of the time span they cover, and that no doubt the geography and former landmarks (the North Star, the length of the day) have undoubtedly changed and are no longer strict constants or constants.
There is nothing innovative about the technical aspects. The picture, the sound is normal for its time, looks and is perceived quite well and worked out, especially technical things and inventions. Hyperbolized emotions and situations are present here to, so to speak, dilute this title from time to time.
Of the disadvantages, this is perhaps some fantastic and unrealistic, which pales before the above advantages and which takes place in an artistic work.
In general, this is an unusual and interesting work with an original plot, bright heroes, a curious confrontation between the characters and their philosophy, awakening a craving for knowledge and self-development.
10 out of 10
First of all, this is not my format at all; I love isekai, fantasy and comedy.
Secondly, I am an oak oak in science, chemistry, cooking from scratch (no pan, stove and gas) and other wonderful things shown in this title.
*So why did I put the maximum score*, you ask. *I was very interested in watching what was happening* - I will answer.
To understand all the luxury of this series, first we will examine its shortcomings. But they almost do not exist, no matter how I managed to hit this title - I will not succeed, but there are only a couple of minor disadvantages:
1 - Drawing of faces of tans.
2 - Openings and endings did not impress me with the word at all.
The downsides are over, and now the upsides.
Well, let’s start with the fact that this is a pioneer of anime with the genre of science (I do not remember the titles before that, which so clearly explained where and why) Maybe I'm wrong, though.
Plot. No questions asked. To launch a genius into the stone world, to show that he can change everything here with the help of science.
Various projects, creation of curiosities accompany throughout the anime. There is also a nice drawing and a minimum of static staff (Thanks God). Pleasant years and secondary characters. About the minor Persians. They are not fools and each has its place in this anime, which act not as a log, but at their discretion, based on their character (omagad, omagad).
A good antagonist and normal motivation (although his idea is a kind of cliché + in his actions he contradicts himself).
And also who would have thought, in the scientific anime background plays a turnip, it's just top.
So I highly recommend watching, not only that you will enjoy watching, so you may still learn something new for yourself.
Z.S.
1. If Senko and Taiju did not run into lions, it would be a normal simulator of urban planning.
2. If Kohaku had said the name of her village when she first met Senko, the series would not have been 24 but 14.
"Science, bitch!" by Jesse Pinkman, "Breaking Bad"
I am amazed at the Japanese manga. Then they translated the biology textbook first into manga, and then into anime ('Cells at work' I highly recommend, especially season 2); and now they went to adapt the school course of chemistry and physics for perception.
Of course, a lot of assumptions and ' rounding corners': and it was Senku who woke up, and everything grew together so quickly - something that people took centuries to do. But on the other hand, if you initially know, ' where to dig' already much easier - you are walking the beaten path, the main thing is to know what exactly you need and for what.
The plot is not very clear. I met opinions 'oh, up to 6 series well, and then quit' I don’t know, I have no complaints about the story or the script. I swallowed both seasons in 2 days, which is something that says something.
Drawing and local jokes (one is inseparable from the other) I do not like very much. I would like more seriousness, without the constant inclusion of chibiki and other manifestations of humor and hypertrophied emotions. But, perhaps, this does not spoil the picture much, although I would prefer more 'adult' attitude.
What really upset me was the music. No, not symphonic paintings and a huge number of bagpipes (you might think that we are watching a documentary about the history of ancient Ireland, honestly). The songs themselves in openings and endings are very faint. And make one of the main themes neither to the village nor to the city rap ... well, you know, there is such a thing as taste. And that's the problem.
What would you do if, in an instant, all the people on Earth turned to stone, and only you would wake up, and more than 4,000 years later?
This is what happened to our hero Senko. For some reason (you’ll find out by watching the anime series), Senko was able to regain his human appearance. Literally being naked, Senko enters the virgin world of the Earth, where the inhabitants of flora and fauna have almost forgotten who a person is.
But Senko is not discouraged, since childhood he was a genius, and studied literally everything. Therefore, our main character decides to save humanity (to remove the petrification of the entire population), restore it to its former power and all scientific achievements. And if he succeeds, we will find out in the anime series.
I really liked the anime series Dr. Stone. The author of the anime series shows everyone how insignificant people are without their achievements. The way the scientific discoveries of the heroes, such as the creation of penicillin or the battery, are shown, cannot but delight. Everything is explained in accessible language using miniature hint schemes. So, even the simplest layman will understand what the heroes achieve by the discovery of this or that invention.
Despite the fact that Senko lives by science, he does not forget what true friendship is, unrequitedly helps those who need help, and does not hold evil for betrayal. Boldly put ten and wait for the end.
One of the few animes that completely captured my heart and mind. Mostly because of the shōnen science pop. Finally, anime with real science, not a game of detectives or magic. All things except petrification and some of the things typical of anime are real, and everything is scientifically explained in both manga and anime. Senku is a true genius and I am very glad that he is the main character and not some cudgel of Taiju.
References to elements of pop culture, Japanese jokes and references to himself are pleasing. Humor is not flat, not worn. Even if jokes don’t make you scream, you’ll definitely get a smile. The quality of the animation is naughty, so I like manga more, but I hope the drawing improves with each new season. And in general, I hope that the anime does not end in half a word.
Anime is not a millimeter different from manga in terms of plot. Everything goes as it should, without unnecessary fillers or slugs. In terms of the overall plot, I will say one thing - it is 10 billion percent awe-inspiring. Interesting villains, thoughtful motivation of characters, their design, chips, interaction. Of course, the work is not without sins, there are plot holes, but all this pales in comparison with the picture as a whole. Even the fanservice to the place.
I can talk a lot about Stone because it's my favorite manga. In general, I advise everyone to watch the anime ' Dr. Stone' for both schoolchildren and students. And then read the manga, because it went far ahead. Give science to the masses!
39 Don’t think science can’t explain anything. Look for laws in things you don't understand. The incessant effort of this search is called "science."' (c) Senku
': After all, flowers are much better than war.'
And#39. It usually doesn’t work the first time, does it?

'He would say, "Surrender would be the most illogical."' (c) Byakuya
Honestly, I did not expect that watching the series would be something like familiarity with popular science videos. But this symbiosis turned out to be simply magnificent: it is interesting to observe the actions of all the characters, as well as to get acquainted with various mechanisms, the process of their manufacture and application.
The series very successfully alternates the moments of the plot development and the moments in which the characters construct some scientific thing. At the same time, the creators are trying to keep on an equal footing with the viewer: almost every explanation of the main character pops up flashbacks from school years. So I was very drawn to the series, I was looking forward to seeing each episode.
Sometimes there are situations that get a little out of the picture. It seems to me that the members of the ISS for their actions Mark Watney (Martian) would beat potatoes on the head.
But overall it was very original and interesting.
