For children only. Modern cartoons have long accustomed us to the fact that they can be watched not only by children, but also by adults. It began in the days of 'The Little Mermaid' and continued in 'Toy Story', 'Shrek' and other great animated films. And these stories can be seen as children of primary school age, and those who bring up children. These are universal and simply cool stories that have passed the test of time. But I cannot say the same about 'Penguin Porororo' which appeared in the world box office in 2019.
The story itself could have been interesting and fascinating. At least the general motives of the plot interested me. Here we are talking about good friends, Pororo, after whom the cartoon was named, as well as his faithful assistants, including a cute crocodile, a fox and a couple of other animals. Due to his restlessness, the little penguin decided to find the treasures of pirates. Having assembled the team, the heroes went on a journey, meeting a lot of heroes along the way and facing various dangers. . .
To be honest, this story turned out to be very simple and it is worth watching except for those children who have not yet met ' Madagascar' and other modern masterpieces. Everything here, from animation to morality. I’m not going to argue with anyone who says that 'Porororo Penguin: Pirates of Treasure Island' made for the little ones and asked for nothing. Yes, children’s animation has its own audience, but again, Pixar and DreamVorsk manage to interest everyone with their projects, but Kim Hyun-ho did not succeed.
There is no truly terrible, dangerous villain. All the troubles of the heroes go into two counts, it is impossible to worry about them. And even children sometimes do not care about what animals do there. Still, it was worth at least a little work on the dramatic content of the story. It was not necessary to make from ' Poro' animated ' Pirates of the Caribbean' but a little more careful work on the script was worth it in any case.
As for the voiceover of the cartoon in Russian, it turned out to be normal. I do not notice the voices of celebrities here, and this is for the best, because sometimes you just want to watch the story and not think that you have heard these intonations somewhere and there are completely unnecessary, unnecessary associations.
In general 'Penguin Porororo' turned out exclusively children's work. But the problem is that it is difficult for him to engage his audience, even the smallest. While watching, they can be constantly distracted. And I would like the child to be attentive, and for this we need a more serious story.
