Interesting, but not enough! In the mini-series (alas, only 4 episodes) 'To be destroyed' production known for its serious works (' Marines', ' Ashes' etc.) of the television series company ' WhiteMedia' (the special, close to NTV, which showed the series on the second day of the celebration of the Great Victory, May 10, 2019) for the first time (!!!) in domestic cinema and on TV, at least partially controlled by the NC, our efforts to get a lot of the Soviet countermeasures (therevestation)
I put the title of the review - ' Interesting, but little!' That's right! Since the topic is so undisclosed and so interesting and unique that I would like to know / see more about it... Unfortunately, the project only had a four-part budget. . .
But I'll share something with you on the subject. So, the first development of blowing up ammunition by radio signals in the Land of Soviets was successfully made in the early 20s, with the support of Lenin and the People's Commissar of War Frunze. Already in July 1925, in the presence of Frunze and on his instructions, 5 radio-controlled land mines were successfully and on time. These weapons systems for many years developed ' Ostekhburo' (practical Institute). I can assume that the prototype of our serial chief designer could serve as the head 'Ostekhburo'Bekauri (in 1938 he was repressed and shot). Next. It’s just amazing (top-scream!) how our then friends the Germans did not know about all these Soviet & #39; radio-explosive & #39; affairs and caught up when at the beginning of the war with the Soviets land mines began to tear, I apologize, under their asses, and began to look for those who and how it does, what, in fact, our series! Meanwhile, the series, at least in part, shows the action of our 'hell machines'. It is a pity that due to the budget and time limit in 'To be destroyed' did not include at least the following known historical facts. On the radio signal, sent on time from a radio tower near Voronezh, on November 14, 1941, a house in the newly occupied Kharkov by the Germans on Dzerzhinsky Street was blown up; many enemy generals and officers were killed. And earlier, on October 22, in Odessa, the commandant of the occupiers (Germans, Romanians) who occupied the former mansion of the NKVD Directorate similarly flew into the air. Shortly after such “acts of retribution” & #39; the Germans forbade & #39; to house & #39; their headquarters, etc. in former Soviet & #39; official & #39; buildings. Well, who is interested in this topic - sometimes in RuNet, like me.
And now briefly about the very (stress on the latest 'o') short TV series. Impresses that finally here the NKVDshniks are not only ' Stalin-Berievsky' oprichniki and jellyfish, as we strenuously ' in films and TV series. Among them were many decent people who honestly performed their main work. Again, it is impressive that the plot ' is famously twisted' and its spy-detective canvas is well worked out and fascinating. The series was shot well, with a clearly small budget (it is issued by not too well-known, inexpensive actors, who played very well for their level, and even obsessive computer winter plans of Moscow). On the first view of cutting eyes 'kinolapov' did not notice. Is it annoying that the head designer’s glasses in some ultra-fashionable frame (where does the Soviet man come from?). This is a question for the creators of the series. Maybe they know better. . .
