We'll catch up! I love real French comedies for the whole family, which combine great script, great acting, and really good jokes that instantly make you smile. So I will never miss a film that is guaranteed to cheer up and it is no surprise that I wanted to see a new French comedy called Stop Crane, which premiered on our screens on July 23.
The plot of the film is the unfortunate Benjamin, who is very difficult to take seriously. Friends and acquaintances laugh at him, his wife looks with skepticism at all his undertakings, and everything is not smooth with his career. Nevertheless, he is not discouraged and tries at the first best opportunity to prove himself from the best side. When the question arises about who should bring the children to the summer camp in Ambrene (Alps, Côte d'Azur - a real fairy tale!), then Benjamin is one of the first to volunteer to go on the road, but help him definitely will not hurt. The second accompanying children becomes no less eccentric Antoine, the grandfather with whom you definitely will not miss, and here all honest company turns out to be at the station, where something unexpected happens.
Putting the children on the train, Benjamin and Antoine suddenly realized that they did not have time for the flight themselves and now they need to do everything to catch up with the train and return to their care those who volunteered to accompany. Together with them, a teenager Maxim is also sent to a mad chase, who did not show up on his train in time, and this is a guarantee that the heroes on the way will not be bored and they will get into a whole lot of funny, hilarious and, undoubtedly, touching adventures. So I advise you to prepare for a rapid chase without a cent in your pocket, but on the second train, ambulance, hippie van, catamaran and other forms of transport that will come across the heroes at hand.
The film pleased with its rapid pace and the number of excellent jokes for a minute of timing. The main character played by Jerome Commander is a typical loser, who in himself is very good, but everything in his life goes awry, well, except for the child, whom our negligent father loves most in life. Yes, Benjamin has done a lot of stupid things and continues to do them right now, but you still get warm feelings for him and want him to catch up with the kids and show everyone that he can be trusted no matter what.
And what a cool Andre Dussolier, a well-deserved dramatic actor who has repeatedly starred in comedies and has always been there as organic as possible. Dussolier plays an active grandfather who is not at all averse to helping his colleague Benjamin, but everything traditionally does not go according to plan. Parents of schoolchildren are aware of what a specific grandfather is, and therefore trust in him is not much more than to Benjamin, but they still had no choice: no one else with children to the camp agreed to go anyway. And this irrepressible couple will make us laugh throughout the plot, while not forgetting about Max, who also has a finger in his mouth, especially when he is hungry.
Bottom line: “Stop tap” – this is a real French comedy for the whole family, which is able to have a good time in the movies and have fun. Such films are definitely worth attention, and therefore I wish you only the most pleasant and positive viewing.
