A film about mental deviations arising against the background of life stress The Greek drama about a girl who chose contemporary art and strange performances, attracting the attention of a new generation of art connoisseurs, caused quite ambiguous impressions in me.
The appearance of the girl, full of tattoos, piercings, punk hairstyle, is complemented by multiple scars on the body, which she inflicts on herself either in the process of these performances, or when she tries to overcome internal pain due to problems in her personal life and family. Her mother is seriously ill; her relationship with her father, who was captured and returned from the war with a broken psyche, leaves much to be desired; and the loved one refuses to understand her inner world and the need for eccentric behavior.
Honestly, I expected more from the film, because the subject is very relevant for modern society. The authors failed to twist the plot to a psychological masterpiece, they only managed to walk along the tops. Plus, the behavior of the main character by the end of the film already caused major rejection – the writers bent the stick. And the main disadvantage of the film, in my opinion, is the ragged ending. You could have done better than that.
Who would I recommend this film to? Those who are interested in mental deviations that arise against the background of severe stress. Watching the heroine from this point of view is quite fascinating.
