I watched the film Zrodzeni do & nbsp;szabli and did not cease to be surprised. I watched the film “Zrodzeni do szabli” and did not cease to be surprised: how much genius, how much talent this charming, sweet, modest handsome actor, and now also director Pavel DeLong contains.
In the film Zrodzeni do szabli, all scenes are magnificent, each episode is worked out, everything is verified and folded to the smallest detail, like a unique precious mosaic. To the smallest detail exactly recreated the historical era, costumes, relationships of people. How attentive, caring, but also demanding at the same time a mentor, teaching the future warrior. What a trusting relationship is built between teacher and student. And all this against the background of a reliable historical narrative, which demonstrates our attitude to weapons, sabers, military duty. Excellent directorial work.
And what is the acting work of Pavel Delong! This image of the Polish warrior of the 17th century was not created by anyone. The actor lives in the film the fate of his hero simply, sincerely, but to the pain in the heart touching and true. No showy epic. Heroism in everyday actions, in relation to the student. Many scenes Paul helped to play his look. The actor is literally speaking. Paul has an amazing ability to express thoughts and feelings with his eyes. Here his eyes glow with care, warmth and tenderness, a little later flashed the demanding harshness, then the admiration for weapons and the fearlessness of a warrior and, finally, the farewell look of a dying hero, in which farewell to life and the realization of the completed duty.
Bravo, Paul! This is a fantastic job!
The secondary characters are all very good too. And they are secondary only formally, because the film is made so that each character is the main character. In this film, everyone gave their all, maybe that’s why when you watch Zrodzeni do szabli, from time to time you forget that you are just a viewer at the screen, there is an extraordinary immersion in the era. The viewer becomes a participant in all events. And what admiration and pride the heart burns on the last shots of the film, when we see a huge, beautiful, proud Polish army!
