This-you and you are not a ghost. The name of the British screenwriter Neil Cross is known primarily for such projects as 'Luther' and 'Cruel Sun'. In the fall of 2020, Cross made another gift to the viewer in the form of a mini-series ' Sister' also known by its title 'Because The Night'.
The plot of the picture introduces the viewer to Nathan - an ordinary happy British family man, whose idyll collapses like a house of cards with the appearance on his doorstep of an uninvited guest from the past.
From the first to the last episode, the authors of the project skillfully flirt with the viewer, skillfully passing off a psychological thriller as mystical. At some point, it becomes really difficult to determine which ghosts the characters are digging up 'Sisters' And this is a very weighty plus of the series, which has all the ingredients necessary for the genre, including suspense and good acting. However, the detective component, literally sucked out of this hoax, does not elicit an iota of faith in its realism, in comparison with which the belief in ghosts will seem more reasoned.
