Family relations European films (especially lately) have always attracted my attention, like melodramatic/romantic or comedy films, mostly Italian, French and Spanish films. I think, probably, because of my romantic nature, such films attract me, and their plot, of course.
The action of the film ' Roman parting' takes place in the capital of Italy in Rome, but the city itself is not much attention paid, all the main action is focused on the main characters Tomazzo and Zoe, and in parallel with this we are told the story of a friend Tomazzo Umberto with his wife Helena, who turned to Tomazzo for advice.
Tomazzo and Zoe are a married couple, but their old feelings began to fade and they no longer feel the passion they had for a friend, and Zoe decided to break up with Tomazzo, but she hesitates to tell him and Zoe is also afraid to hurt his feelings. Noticing the romantic column of one writer in the magazine, Zoe decided to correspond with him and ask for his advice, but Zoe did not know that this writer is Tomazzo.
The film is divided into chapters and each chapter begins with its own line, which everyone can interpret differently.
To me, Tomazzo's character looked more natural and natural compared to Zoe, I even sometimes thought that Zoe was a bitch, although a beautiful and attractive girl.
I think the main message of the film is that how difficult it is for couples to break up after so many years together, the film gives a clear perspective on this, on the other hand, the film could be deeper, you could dig & #39; deeper.
The ending scene of the film was beautiful and a bit emotional.
In the end, Roman Breakups is a frankly honest film about family problems and breakups, but the film could have been deeper and more intense.
