A Filipino and Mennonite meet on the streets of Winnipeg, pushing someone's car out of the snow. When they meet, they go to the bar. Here the girl offers a game: they tell each other personal secrets, but never meet again.
Normal translation: "I suggest we never see each other again."
This romcom has a pretty good tie. In general, I am interested in films about love from different cultures or views. Here the young actors, by the way, are authentic: Hera Nalam is Filipino, and Christian Jordan Mennonite (a Christian sect that largely denies modern technology).
By the way, the main duo gives good chemistry. There are some pretty explicit scenes. Here Nalam liked it better as a small, energetic and charming Filipino. Christian Jordan is more wooden, and his hero is strange. For a guy who, according to him, slept with a lot of girls, he does not understand anything about them and makes not very clear decisions.
In principle, it turned out quite a passing romantic comedy (some particularly funny moments I, however, did not notice). The script quickly slides into typical genre clichés and only charming Nalam tries to drag the picture. Well, the message of the picture about the need for honesty and openness of partners in relationships is good.
